i believe that need to depends on the apps too
and i found this in other forum: "This from another forum may temper some peoples headlong rush into this Pre-Release version: This is an OTA to DEMO phones! This was sniffed out and the URL was given. Your IME is not ready to receive this update and neither is the market and apps, you are basicially running a BETA version of 2.2 that is intended to get the Media guys their update to get flash and blog about the new features. Your update would have come OTA probably in a week or so. Because you are not supposed to have it yet, your paid apps aren't available and some features will not work properly. The SDK came out all of 2 days ago, devs have not been able to update their software to comply, therefore you will not see market items you are not compatible with. The original phone that got this- denied the update booted under and 'hacked' up the sending url. this was then leaked to XDA which then put it here. hacked leak." |

QUOTE(davidmak @ May 27 2010, 07:17 PM) That extra 64MB of RAM is merely to drive HTC Sense UI's set of widgets. And its really not much extra over N1's 512MB. Its comparable in my opinion. At any time, both device will have lots of extra hanging around under non-heavy use. ya i know..maybe some1 buy it and turn off sense UI to treat it as N1?lolI can tell you that extra 64MB is just nothing because why? Desire still on 2.1 with the older kernel while N1 has Froyo hehehe... 200+ MB free FTW! many ppl dun care how much the kernel use.they look more on spec |

QUOTE(allenlyk @ Jun 8 2010, 04:05 PM) For me, buying iPhone4 is to show off only and is not enough to make me ditch my green robot.. for the real techies, android is a much better choice, since you can do so much for with it.. +1(I got bored after few days of playing with my iPod Touch when I first bought it) actually i will prefer buy N1 as phone then iPad as tablet..win-win situation have a nice android phone + nice 10" tablet with spec around the same with iphone 4 |

QUOTE(chowlala @ Jun 9 2010, 02:25 PM) The A4 chip is slower than the snapdragon processor. And apparently from what I read, it's using 256 RAM only, which is why they've decided to limit their multitasking because it can't take the load unlike Android phones. i thought A4 chip is faster than 1Ghz Snapdragon?Watch out for the snapdragon dual core release in a few months. Gonna be nuclear. Lol. A4 chip as in iPad's processor if not mistaken,1ghz hummingbird is around the same with A4 chip Added on June 9, 2010, 12:41 pmit says A4 chip in iPad 10-30% faster than snapdragon in N1 here the source http://www.zdnet.com/blog/gadgetreviews/ap...nchmarked/13692 This post has been edited by hihihehe: Jun 9 2010, 12:41 PM |

QUOTE(ben3003 @ Jun 9 2010, 06:10 PM) ya know the apple share drop right after apple announced iphone 4, why? becos the features is nothing new, and the facetalk or watever, ONLY for WIFI and only between IPHONE 4. And video call is something not new, apple. Try harder next time like i said, apple is magician..once iphone 4 announced, many ppl in facebook and twitter talk about it like "Wow on the facetime, resolution, etc" but in fact those not really something new...even /k/ also discuss about it and duno how many threads open de and when htc desire release in malaysia, who care about it?not even single ppl in facebook mention about the release..lol iphone marketing is really strong android should work harder |

QUOTE(ben3003 @ Jun 9 2010, 10:04 PM) android is hot in US, becos malaysia is kinda kampung, frankly speaking. Investors pulling out because they are US, and US owns the market share more than malaysia, malaysia market share is like maybe less than 1 percent? That's why. to be honest, other countries also same..take australia as example, everywhere also iphone..n last night, i went for dinner and the table next to e talking about new iphone...they keep WOW on the FaceTime,camera,etc..i also saw 2 of their frens have SE X10 and htc desire at the table but also WOW on the iphone and may jump ship...QUOTE(leyley @ Jun 10 2010, 12:41 AM) ??android is from google and hot because of open source and lot of customization... |
