do you purposely blow the subject and keep the background dark?

not purposely...my iso only 400..shutter around 1/60..aperture 5.6..and my flash is usually 45 degress or more to make the shot less harsh...so......not i dun wan make background bright..=/

i think the background will look nicer if u bump ur iso to 800

and time to invest in a good diffuser
noticed that ur flash can only light the top half of the model, the lower half are usually dark. my dua cents

haha..my camera iso 800 cannot lar...=/ got noise d...

not my diffuser problem..is my skill problem..still got much to improve..><

Dior is such a sweet model..... how u got into this shooting event? wat event was it?

hahax. pay rm60 lor...got organiser ask model come out do photoshoot de ma..just join lo..

Oooo.... the orginiser got provide guidance or watever photographing supporting equipment? juz models?

erm..got direct the model pose a bit here and there lo..got provide reflector but din really use..haha..model..not modelss...

Ooo.... hahaa model only..... I thought Dior pro dy, still need direct ka.... no heavy sunlight still ok, if strong sunlight, no reflector, model turn out half face.... lol

yeah she quite pro...but still can direct her ma...hehe..

most of my shots above is done is heavy sunlight ma.. like the 2 number 3 pic...no reflector..use direct flash..
