Because what they are claiming is still a criminal offence so there has to be a trial. Juve being relegated was a decision made by the sporting body and is separate from the court of law.

spot on sir

My comments on this

The 1st Calciopoli already hurt italian football very much... Look at how juve, milan, roma, inter(before this season) became other league team's breakfast in europe after dat. Some rumors saying dat if juve won
the case...they might get some compensation & their most hated rival Inter might get a relegation something like dat la... Truth is...my darkside says "serve them right...they gonna get wat they deserve, prepared to suffer just
like us"...but on the other side... This thing might hurt serie A even more... Yes honestly i hate Inter...but i treat them as a rivals...not sworn enemies. Heck i'd even cheer for them in champions
league. Relegating them will did damage even more to the already damaged serie a. And another thing...relegating/condemning inter will not get juve pride back...we already crawling slowly to achieve the
"old juve"...so whats the point?

rules r rules, offense is offense if found guilty u know what gonna happen to inter regardless what it will bring to italian football, juve been given some unfair treatment some might say, n impact to the club it self was disaster...if inter found guilty and escape without punishment, imagine what the critic would say, or what the other team in italy would say, it's a shame if inter gonna b stripped from their titles n relegated down but somebody needs to sent a clear message about how serious this offense was,...

but lets this time be the true guideline for italian team for not making the same mistakes again for the good of the game itself smile.gif

You really think this 2nd Calciopoli is only Moggi vs Inter ?
Even Roma is brought into questioning. Heck even Milan is another team brought into question again.

May be because Juve retain Serie A 2 times 04/06, 05/06 before the 1 Calciopoli and Juve had win scudetto for 29 times (minus 2 and still 10 times more than other serie a team)... Juve are the one should be punished more heavier...  And 2nd contender that time Milan received the 2nd heavier punishment. And after that, team had never be scudetto since 88/89 season monopoly serie A tongue.gif

Dunno ask the guy that posted it, I'm simply replying to your query on who are the 'big names' in italian football admin.

btw, i do think that Italy is EXTREMELY OVERRATED after WC2006. Nothing great bout their performance at all.

to those haters hard-to-accept-the-truth out there... Italy deservedly won the 2006 edition, ya i might sound like a fanboy. Yes u could say dat penalty against Australia was debatable...but don't forget during the same game Materazzi was sent off for nothing (the matter of fact he accidentally tackled his teammates)...so blame australia for not capitalizing dat during ¾ of the game bcoz the ref already help them 1st. Sorry but i think the team dat only concede 2 goals during entire tournament (1 own goal & 1 non-existence zidane's penalty-karma perhaps) deserved to be crown world champs. BTW it's not italy national team we talking about here...

Dont worry you dont sound like a fanboy. English Premier League and England national team fanboys still outnumber us 10 to 1 even if we are Italian football fanboys lol...

Thats the "beauty of Italian football".. The ability to win ugly.

I am sure deep down inside (they will not admit it on the outside) the "limeys" and the English fanboys would rather have that ability instead of enduring 44 years of pain, heartache and disappointment.

They blame it on luck, injuries..but are you sure you can be down on luck for 44 years? Come on..There is a chinese saying.. even a dog has its day.. Unfortunately, due to poor technical abilities and over-hyped players.. that "dog" is still waiting icon_rolleyes.gif

The Italians are cheaters and are lucky? For 76 years they are lucky? For 76 years they cheat (Since 1934 where they won their first WC)? Come on... It is similar as you cant be down on your luck for 44 years.. something is either seriously wrong or the communities are delusional for 44 years..

Who knows, maybe this might be their year finally hmm.gif After all.. the English fanboys and the media believe yet again that this is the best squad ever...(They claimed the same thing back in 1986 though... unsure.gif )

Italian National Team At All Levels:

Senior Side:

WC: 4 times (Best of any European Nation)
European Championship (EURO): 1 time
Olympic Football Tournament: 1 time
Central European International Cup: 2 times
* Laureus World Sports Award for Team of the Year: 2007

UEFA U-21 Championship: 5 times (Best of any Nation)
Toulon Tournament: 1 time

UEFA U-19 Championship: 1 time

UEFA U-17 Championship: 2 times

England National Team At All Levels:

WC: 1 time
European Championship (EURO): 0
Olympic Football Tournament: 2 times
Central European International Cup: 0

UEFA U-21 Championship: 2 times

UEFA U-19 Championship: 1948, 1963, 1964, 1971, 1972, 1973 ,1975, 1980, 1993 (Best of any Nation)

UEFA U-17 Champioship: 0
Algarve Tournament: 1 time

The media and the fanboys on bandwagons blast Italian football, players and coaches.. but ironically the English national team is managed by an Italian.... doh.gif

seems like almost all teams have been dragged in. i'm sure this case will take long before any court decision is made.

lol.. if all guilty, then serie A can cease to exist tongue.gif
