just put the blame on the government. Msia per capital income* is so low ($13,551) compared to Sg ($49,433). Almost 4X lower. A Bangla in Sg earn almost as much as a bank officer in Msia    . A lot of ppl still can't afford a Mac in Msia. In Sg ? even my kid carry a Macbook white and she's only in Primary 4  ..so it's nothing to brag about owning a Mac here.
