QUOTE(auhckw @ May 14 2011, 07:21 PM) Ya, cannot imagine the taste of cold bou lei... sure geli actually i tested on cold tea as well. Japanese green tea (powder/satchel) can put in cold water, soak for few hours. Then the green tea taste very nice. So I did the same thing with jasmine tea (i once read that the ratio of jasmine tea:water is 1:72) i put in cold water in fridge for at least 6 hrs. Sometimes i add sugar. very nice. Almost like yeo's jasmine tea.» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

I still remember many year ago, (i start drinking chinese tea around 20+) a lady also walk around selling tea in chinatown. She go to all the table in the restaurant except the one me and my friend were sitting. We could have buy some from her. But i guess both of us look too young to buy tea

QUOTE(auhckw @ May 18 2011, 02:48 PM) I just checked out Klang Parade. Only 1 tea shop. Chwan Deng Tea Art. Not very big shop... and... where got pretty girls. 1 Old lady got la you really go there to see pretty girl ah? Anyway, I checked out Teali Klang (Ji Ri), just next to Klang Parade. I think it is the biggest branch among the 3 (at least double the size for Kepong). Also the most tea to see too. I sometimes didn't go there already. So not sure got other ppl liao or not. What about The Mall? One of my best tea session was a short 60mins with a veteran in tea. I hear ppl want to drink with him have to make appointment correct ke? No la, he busy taking care grandchildren. He is the first person who teach me how to ping aka 品 chinese tea. I miss that day. |

QUOTE(cuebiz @ May 19 2011, 09:08 AM) No more liao. now taken over over by pretty girl team you mean he no longer go drink tea there? How the shop survive without selling tea? I know they do have a lot of teapot. i got my first two *better than average teapot there.Added on May 19, 2011, 9:16 am When he goes supplies chili to shops, he would ask whether they got stock tea. If yes, he will buy all without even tasting it and dump it to his lorry. It takes courage and luck to get into this business. You can read some of the story in the book published by KL tea society. It is in chinese but you can always ask someone to translate. Oh No!! Pretty girl team (i thought only 1 girl). Well, we guess somebody will SURELY visit there. |
