Prefer Strong fragrance flower after taste.
I read some online and found long jing , xiang pian and high mountain oolong has the preference? Any place recommended to get ? My first jasmine tea was bought at purple cane

best flowery aftertaste tea is darjeerling. the good ones. i think chinese tea are good at flowery taste but never strong. xiang pian is probably the best flowery taste although single dimension. like puerh (my main drink) with flowery aftertaste is very expensive. i'd bet on good darjeerling. first flush is just out not too long ago. try lochantea.com

I heard tea is good but don't know much about it.

Any tea lovers here that can share their experience? What tea is good? Where is your fav tea shop?

I have learned so much over the 1 year of tea adventuring but there are just so much more to learn and taste. I have posted my learning progress and some post may sound noobish (as I am one) so pardon me  laugh.gif

Feel free to go through the pages and do share your experience too  rclxms.gif

Drinking Rooibos Red Tea can cure nagging headaches, insomnia, asthma, eczema, bone weakness, hypertension, allergies, and premature aging. The tea is absolutely free from caffeine content and is also low in tannins. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Anyone know how brew very thick tea?
I always notice the tea I brew is not thick enough. When add milk, it will become just like skin colour.
But why coffee shop's tea can made it so thick like almost orange or gold color?
I put a lot of tea powder but still result not very thick.

Guys
When I went back to my old village in Fujian, my relatives gave me some v gd tie guan yin from anxi. I think I had the spring pick and the normal pick as well but I had to give them away to my other relatives, and now with regrets.

Can I know which shop in kl/ kepong should I go for good tie guan yin? I went to 2 shops in jalan sultan, but they brewed a lot of puer for me, but that's not what I am looking for, for now.

What type TGY u looking for? Roasted? or Green?

Roasted type the leaves are usually darker as they've been roasted.

Green is the very fresh looking type, typically need to keep in fridge and needs to be consumed within 6mths to a couple of yrs

I am looking for the roasted ones in Malaysia.
Do we also hv the green type in Malaysia? The last time it was a big hassle - I had to carry them back in a ice packed box all the way, and kept them in freezer. But they tasted so good.

i know 津品(津茗品茶) in Old Klang Road area has green type.

Roasted one generally most shops will have. Tea Nature Tea House in SS2 PJ doesn't have green type, but should have some roasted TGYs, teas there are pretty good and boss is very friendly.
