Hmmm I didn't think of using a single-element lens - the lens needs to be able to focus very close in order to use this peephole.

tried that once. but using chap ayam peephole. bought from tesco for rm5 if not mistaken. the IQ sucks. and quite dark. using brightest aperture also need slow shutter speed or high ISO shakehead.gif

maybe should find better peephole, higher quality one laugh.gif

to make NEX small, Sony put IS in the lens. our a-mount lens have no IS because of the SSS in the body. so if using the adapter, both NEX and a-mount lens won't have IS sad.gif

Back ON TOPIC, Mo0, i've got the minolta 28mm. Why u looking into that lens? The 'poisons' that normally come out from that lens are food photos. Using my mobile to type this now, see when i can get my hands on a comp that time i find some pics to see if u still need them.
