i just came back from the event..kinda frustrated..my a 300 always focus the background instead of the subject if i take the photo in the hurry...

i wonder is it because of the body prob, or my lens prob or my own problem.  

i set my focusing area at wide. should i set it at local when i take people's faces and group shots?
arghhhhhhhh...not the first time this problem is happening to me....

cjlai : Confirm 7D la. You were talking about your limited edition 7D ma. And although those words are in japanese, but I guess in chinese it means anniversary edition or something. XD

fansoption : SP90 can definitely go close la. Use an aperture about 11~14. With the help of flash. You'll see wonders. Even my old 50mm macro can. But I just simply don't have the patience to do macro(kinda get freaked out by bugs too). LOL.

fansoption : Surely f2.8 or somewhere nearby right? Hahaha. Macro must at least be f10 above le. f22. lagi best. (:

I can say AF is slow, use MF faster then AF alot hehe, but i still dunno how to shoot very very closeup like fly eye detail ha

You sure tamron really can close up butterfly eye detail? follow you guide me setting?

when taking pic, first focus then take pic
then the lens looses focus, is this normal ??? (using AF mode , not CF or SF focussing mode)
had problem if doing continuous shooting..
first shot in focus, others OOF
