I asked the Digi Centre staff, "how long is the warranty?" and he said "1 year"
Then I asked, "isn't it standard 2 years for HTC products"? He said "No" I then asked "Can I pay more (RM27) to extend warranty?" Not at Digi Centre, if you sign up with dealers, can. But any problem after 1st year, you find dealer" "So if the phone has trouble in 1st year, do I come back here?" No, you cari HTC. I was like "eh? sure boh?" |

QUOTE(SweetPuff @ May 11 2010, 05:28 PM) Latest update. I do have to admit it was an impulse buy. I initially just wanted to change to Digi. it was like:All stocks wiped out. You guys sure act fast... I guess for those who wanted one, I'm afraid you'll have to wait till next week 15 minutes surf Digi site for latest promo 1 hour reading reviews of legend 30 minutes go to nearest mall (was told to go Digi Centre) 2 hours in BTS Just do it. |

How many GB memory card come with ? 2. Cable ? 3. Software ? 4. Accs. like screen proctector, pouch..... 5. Warranty ? (DiGi provide 1 year, But since SIS provide 2 years, how come? Digi is AP divice ?) TQ! Added on May 13, 2010, 8:16 pm Maybe yours are 2 years contract RM999 (Phone) + RM500 (Advance Payment) = RM1,499. But where is another RM68 ? Maybe you had the discount. May I know what you get ? Any Free Gift ? Memory Card How many GB ? Pic taken with legend camera, so WYSIWYG (photo quality I mean) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « No casing, no screen protector. 2gb micro sd. I don't use either. Legend is the only thing in my left pocket. This post has been edited by ashburn98: May 13 2010, 08:42 PM |

The Digi guy that I got my Legend told me something that made sense, when I mentioned that I had my eye on Desire. He told me their range of phones offered is based on the competitors. The impression I got was "they give, we give also" kinda thing.

QUOTE(stanum @ Jun 25 2010, 03:51 PM) Hey guys, i don't know where is the best place to post my inquiries, i post it here, hopefully i received good comments. Currently i am thinking of getting BB 8520 or HTC Legend, both have good and bad features. So, honestly what is the best between both phone that is much better for long term usage? '8 users currently on BB subforum'I love BB because of the email features, FB for BB cause i love the signature 'via Blackberry', Apps not sure though. For the HTC, i love it too cause of the design, 3g, touch screen (i nvr had any before), apps not sure too though, maybe you can give me some ideas what is the best? i read review for both and it seem both are good too. Forget the bold because i cant afford it. '46 users currently on Android subforum' says it all actually. |

for my usage pattern, digi smartplan suits me way better than maxis plans.
but desire availability would be good. |

QUOTE(funnyTONE @ Jun 30 2010, 01:09 AM) One thing I learn about Digi is that they don't follow the trend, they make the trend. Why the need to introduce Desire when Maxis already offer that? I'd be anticipating that Digi would make a smarter move and bring in Nexus One or even iPhone 4. Now wouldn't that make anyone slobber? Digi comes out and say they have exclusive for HTC Evo (Non CDMA) named Digi Evo 4G. |

QUOTE(funnyTONE @ Jul 2 2010, 12:17 PM) I wouldn't want to be caught up in the rat race. I've already decided in my mind to get myself Legend even though Desire came up hot in the wishlist. I'm being realistic when I say that in 6 month or less, people won't mention about Legend nor Desire in the same breath as iPhone 4 or HTC Evo. The 'rat race' is already on. I basically salivated on Galaxy S As long as Legend gets 2.2 at the same time with Desire, HTC did their job, for me. |
