Nope. No updates. Phone subsidies are rather costly and of course digi won't have the same financial capabilities like the other 2 big telcos.

And I think we'll only focus on certain devices and not every other new devices in the market.

Never a good time to buy top of the line phone, if you ask me. You buy Desire, then just round the corner will be Incredible, Wildfire etc...

Aiyo, Digi gives so much dividend away. Maybe its time to rewards the users instead of shareholders. After all, its us whom Digi is building a fortune.

Went back from Digi center.

Digi got us kao kao.
Apparently, the price slashing on IDigi plan is not a discount, but merely because it was transfer to Digi as a measure to recoup the phone cost.

For example, if you sign up for Idigi 138, the price you paid is not RM90. Make that straight. YOU SIGN UP FOR IDigi 138 for RM138 per month. WHAT HAPPENED THERE???

Apparently someone at Digi trying to be smartass and wanna caught you napping. You signed up for Idigi 138 and paid RM138 for it but was it stated RM90???

Well, its easy. Digi think you would not be smart enough to notice that the savings that you thought you were getting were instead being transfer to Digi to recoup their phone cost. So RM138-RM90(published pricing)=RM48. 2years contract means 24 x RM48 = RM1,152. Instead of the published RM890 that you should paid, Digi reckon you should pay the savings you get from their Idigi plan for them to recoup the phone cost which explained why you had to pay RM2,042 (RM1,152 + RM890) for the phone and still pay RM90 each month within the contract.

Depends on Desire HD retail price...

Digi will continue to knock RM600 from the RRP... Im guessing it would be slightly more expensive than Desire RRP given the bigger screen and such... If RRP is 2,499 then it would be for RM1,899 for one year contract.

Desire HD RRP should be same as Desire.  In fact, in Singapore, the Desire HD RRP is lower than Desire's RRP when Desire is first launched.

Comparison is good, but lets hope that there is more competition... otherwise no meaning at all...
