I think that's a bit hard to find but i have encounter halal satay celup in melaka before .

Tai Thong Dim Sum inside those Berjaya Club house..for sure halal. But Tai Thong individual restauranst not halal

BTW, I think long time ago, there's halal Dim Sum in Giant kelana Jaya & Shah Alam Plaza masalam?

If you means Halal by Jakim certified, there are non. Unless only restaurant claiming Halal, refer to post by Vey99 or Mods.

I tried Xing. they did say pork-free but i don't recall being official HALAL.

now the question would be how expensive you want your dim sum to be. smile.gif

Pork free can already-lah for those dun really particular..just check those Seafood restaurants in Port klang - well they are not Halal but pork free. yet, lotsa muslim customers..such as coconut flowers, Bagan seafood, Port Village & etc..opss abit OT liao..haha


Added on April 24, 2010, 11:20 amBTW, I also saw b4 few of the Indian mamak selling halal dim sum such as ABC in Puchong Prima..probably their othe rbranches in Desa petaling, OUG Citrus park got also??

Chynna KL Hilton and the chinese restaurant at Mandarin Oriental serve halal dimsum...not sure whether got Halal certificate or not..but i saw quite a number of malay dining there...

but its a little expensive...

just for info, in Kelantan got dim sum halal, i think at Renaissance hotel. (of course, the thread is about klang / shahalam / KL tongue.gif )

Try Crown Plaza Hotel, KL. Next to Wisma Genting in Jln Sultan Ismail.

I've personally tried Quality Hotel's all-you-eat dim sum. Only then i realised it was halal. Its really good i must say. Near Sogo area...

my fren just open a shop(4-5month ago) in Wangsa Maju and Kelana Jaya serving halal dim sum. Its 100% meleis shop with variety from western till chinese food. can go try if you want thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

the taste cant really compare to anywhere else since its the only dim sum i ever tried biggrin.gif

I don't think Minmax is halal, only pork free. They sell liquor and their workers are foreigners (Myanmar/Vietnamese)
