there are no heat issues with the mbps. The test that was done had problems with the fans still operate at 2000rpm where the temps reach ard 100 deg C

btw if you really have problems with flash, then swith to windows 7. mbp run windows 7 better than osx.

hmm... i don noe how ot explain.. the screen brightness will go to the max n back to normal den go bright again n back.. it keep on doing like this + there will be a line going up and down.. like a TV that got no transmission.. 
i bought it through online store.. 

kinda shocked me a lil bit.. and the apple care guy say this is the first time he heard such thing after undergo a few step to encounter the problem.. LOL.. hv to wait 7-14days to repair..

This is my very first macbook ever i would to ask seniors which accessories is good for my macbook?

I'm planing to buy a full body shield for my baby but i want to know how's the bottom of new macbook pro look like, is the first one (battery can take out) or the second one (build in battery)

i sync with my mbp.. i just plug in the usb and follow the instructions on itunes..

Apps and contacts the easiest to sync. Not sure about photos and I had experienced in songs where it wiped my iphones clean. No song. End up just transfer it across from backup hard disk to my mac itunes.
Should be ok for photos though if you have it all still in your iphone. It will just opened up the iPhoto automatically and ask if you want to copy it to your new mac

If you have the budget by all means go ahead and upgrade... Higher resolution means better viewing pleasure. =)

Umm got one question is that my itunes is blank now without any movies or songs but in my iphone I have all those songs and movies that was previously sync with my desktop... Is it possible to transfer my songs and movies into my MBP's itunes? Or when I sync it, it will delete everything and not transfer it to my MBP?

hey guys i have a problem with my mbp. i left my mbp on today for roughly a few hours with the lit closed. i think it went on sleep mode. didnt on any fans near it cos nobody was at home. when i got back, the fan was in 'high' mode, and the laptop on the left side is really hot. this is the first time that this happened. usually if i were to close the lit of the laptop, even without fan, it wud not go into high fan. just wondering if any sifus know whats wrong with my mbp. anything gone wrong?

urm i do use a wireless mouse, and its kept on most of the time. but ive been using the mouse for awhile now and the problem just occured. think perhaps its like how crazyee said, there is some unclosed programe running. after restarting its been so good so far, hopefully it doesnt happen again. 

Can try to deactive all connections to the macbook. If im not mistaken there is a setting there to disable all connections if its in the sleep mode in system preferences right?

I had this problem few times already .. its when we thought that closing the lid will bring the system to hibernate .. what you could do is to look into your syslog and see what causes the system to come alive .. and most probably as other said, it might be some of the USB devices that connected to your MBP causing this.

Added on May 10, 2010, 6:02 pmBTW, do a search on google with "macbook sleep issue" and you could find a lot of postings about this issue .. there are quite a number of option you could try .. but for me, setting it to not awake on opening the lid seems to solve my problem..

Glossy or matte screen? What ambient lighting condition? Have you used a screen calibrator?

eh can differentiate what. not as obvious as when u look at it sideways la, but still noticeable. im about 60% brightness
me! well it protects from scratches lar...sometimes i forgot to take off my metal watch.. my previous MBP got a lot of scratches because of that

My Macbook also can't differentiate the white at bottom. >.<

Hey anyone have problems watching youtube videos on the macbook pro?
My macbook pro is new, and first thing I do after opening the macbook pro is to go to safari and watch youtube. But more than 70% of the youtube videos wont load!!
When I click on the video link in youtube, it wont play! just stucked at black screen!!

Uploaded the image below. No matter how many times I restart , no use. Mac doenst fully support youtube? if thats the case it is a very big disappointment!!

you can't use you graphic card in vmware,
Vmware only use emulation to make windows 7 work on it.

no way. that's why it's called virtualization. ur windows is running on a 'fake' computer, it doesnt have a clue what hardware do you have.

u can bootcamp anytime u want. the bootcamp assistant will help u to resize the partition, wont kacau ur data

a question on trackpad of macbook pro..apple claims tht we can click anywhere on trackpad surface rite? but mine cant click on top left and right of the trackpad surface..mind to know is it normal or a problem for me? sorry for my noob question..jst wnt to mke sure tht mine dnt hve any prblem since it is my first one n i really love it..
