My mac book suddenly took 10 minutes to boot... It was fine all the while... Upgraded to snow leopard and a new hard disk 6 months ago.... I've even tried to reformat....
Any suggestions before I send it for repair?

i hav a problem starting my 2008/9 MBW and i hope some one can help me on this problem i recently change the stock 160GB HDD to a 320GB WD HDD (5400RPM) and successfully installed Snow Leopard after using for a week, when i turn on the MBW, i got a grey screen with a "big folder icon" inside the folder icon ,a question mark keep flashing 1) could it be tat the HDD is not suitable for this MBW? 2) compared to my stock HDD( Hitachi) which hav the Apple logo, this WD Scorpio Blue HDD does not hav the apple logo, is it compatible wif Apple? wat would you guys advice me to do? thanks in advance  |

Hey guys,
Ive been using the headphone jack to connect to my speakers and today its not working anymore. There isn;t any sound output. Ive already checked all the settings. The internal speaker works though. Is this the beginning of my MBW deterioration ? lol
