I think its still ok for the RM500 difference... Im sure apple has those marketing experts and price experts that they think even by this price its still going to attract people to get the MBW for Rm500 cheaper... Not eveyrone does an extensive research so some people will think oh Rm500 cheaper why not...

I did my research, but price drop wasn't that significant though. Well, maybe that RM500 is just too much for me. I am getting the MBW for my niece though, and i checked the price, it's RM3099.

Oh wow, why so serious? I was just merely saying I am disappointed with the price difference when I first bought it, and the revised price few months later. Of course I know the price would depreciate.

I have purchased a MBP 13" from apple online store last wednesday,
and on the night the MBP was delivered, my 'G' button was dropped out and I pressed it back other that.
Recently, the 'G' button still keep dropping out, I don't find any strange until today,
I found that the clip under the 'G' has broken, I believe it is a faulty by factory.
What should I do?
Send to Machines or any apple reseller to repair or call Apple Support first?
*I called apple technical support just now, but no one answer the call*

i have called apple after my school.
just for a 'G' button on keyboard, and it took me almost 1 hour to talk to apple again and again.
over 80% of 1 hour was just for WAITING and LISTENING to the songs..=.="
and in the end, told me, web ordering department is closed, have to call them tomorrow again and ask for a replacement on my mbp..

hopefully there is a replacement, it is my first mbp, hopefully i dont get another broken on for the replacement.

Hey guys, my penryn macbook pro batt is giving me problems. saying "Service Battery". Could i get a new battery from apple? or do i have to fork out the money to get the new batt?

current batt capacity - 4147 mAh
Original batt capacity - 5600 mAh

181 batt load cycles
my mac is 25 months old..

i thought it was 24hr? only if u want to speak to the management side then is until 6pm. the call for replacement is nt by apple europe (for my replacement case). mine was by apple singapore. only the management side can decide whether the MBP can be replaced or nt. for technical side is 24hrs.

Considering that this offer is for colleges - which is what Americans call universities - it's not that big a problem. I think. It's just a matter of registering local universities into a database and have some sort of identity verification.

Sucks man! I just bought a brand new MBP 13 from the Apple online store and just within 2 weeks, the battery has problems and can't be charged.

Called Apple's Support line and there were very good but still had to bring to Machines to service... and now they tell me that they will need 1 week to diagnose and another week to change the battery... damn!...

if Apple wants to take some market share from the enterprise segment, they better do a lot better in the services side...

if I had a dell, they would send an engineer on-site the next day to solve my problems....

thanks =) actually the reason i want the 17" is because of the screen's resolution and its size. so have to compromise a bit lorr. the thing weighs abt 2.9kg but i dont plan to move it about much unless i really have to so it should be ok. really excited to get it. waiting is a pain though.

ok, my Mac Pro's finally out....       

looking at either the 17" MBP Core i7 or the 15" MBP Core i7...

I've already got a 24" Dell to complement the upcoming MBP, so now it's just a matter of your guys convincing me which one I should go for...

I was planning for 17" CTO i7 with 500GB 7200rpm from a reseller, but few weeks without computer to use...

And I've yet to see how good is a HR 15" screen compared to a normal res 15"...

*&#$@ ... I returned my MBP for a replacement because it came with a dead pixel.
Now the replacement comes with a dead pixel as well.

Now I have to call Apple Care again tmrw. And I'll have to wait while this unit goes all the way back to China and another unit gets shipped to me. The last time this happens, it took 19 days. @#*&$

anyone received SIRIM label before? I got a SIRIM label for my MBP. Am I supposed to get this? LOL.
