Cant help much just need to wait for it to arrive... Doesnt matter if it arrives later a little since its valid for a whole year so no worries... Just play with your MBP 1st while waiting for it =D... They wont give you the code, it will come with the box so still have to wait...

@jind86 No point wrapping it to keep it clean... If you wanna keep it clean then you could wipe it every weekend or something =D Like PeeEl said, it wouldnt be safe to wrap it around with the plastic as it will get hot after long usage... So suggest to take it off..
@xirality Im not sure about Form 4.. Maybe you could call apple up and verify. As I understand from the T&C, it caters for higher education students (college and above) but teachers for high school is exceptional.. @boaz I dont think resellers will reduce their price... Apple products are price controlled by their HQ... So either they will bundle in promotion packages like what nimrod323 said or sell it individually... Best to get it through online with the education price... Thats the best offer.. Try not to get those from sellers that only give you the code but not the whole box... Insist on the bxoes =D |

@milky I doubt that apple will further upgrade again so soon after this upgrade.. Maybe a few months time but nobody knows exactly when they will upgrade it... Rumours saying by this summer, apple will announce the iphone 4G maybe that time they will also include the 13" upgrade but still its just a guess..

Umm yea kinda agree but it also depends as now the MacBook Pro 13" Alu is almost the same price as the MacBook White.... So in order to sustain the demand for the macbook white .
There are 2 possibilities, 1 will be to decrease the macbook white price/upgrade the macbook white which the latter isnt quite possible before MBP 13" is upgrade, number 2, they will upgrade the Macbook Pro 13"...So its still unclear which will they go for =D only SJ will know haha |

So far it has been there since Malaysian Apple store is established till now.... So dont think it will end unless of course like previous forumers highlighted if many non students used the education price and found out by apple, they might remove the education price or maybe tighten the procedure in applying for one. =D

@sumtuckiee dont need... Just restart and use the battery till it forces to sleep...
@xirality Just read the terms and conditions before proceed with the buying... Maybe if you have elder siblings that studies in colleges/unis then just go ahead... Shouldnt be a problem but be prepared if you are chosen by apple to prove that you are a student.. Its random though... @zeeker87 nice... enjoy your MBP? =D |

Yes the link i gave is for first charge.... But you havent finish calibrating so maybe you should try to use till the macbook autosleeps and recharge your macbook to full again after that and you are good to go... Calibration only done once a month
Added on April 25, 2010, 12:39 amAgree with Hanxz... All those stated in the website is based on very light usage and differs from every single one of us.... If you play music/video/games definitely wouldnt last you for 10 hours.. This post has been edited by tarvalslain87: Apr 25 2010, 12:39 AM |
