Check on Msconfig, go to "boot", advanced option, under number of processsors, set to 4 then reboot and check again cpu-z....

Start->All Programs->Lenovo->Energy Management->Power management options. Click the small gear icon at the bottom right, then choose the 'Smart Control' tab and uncheck 'ALS (Ambient Light Sensor) Control'.

Which SXPS 16 you are comparing?

Gaming wise, the Y560 would do better since it has lower screen resolution 1366x768..
Yes, you could just lower the resolution on SXPS 16, but it would resulting some blur, which is subjective matter to each own.... and why you say Y560 has better graphic and more ram? |

Got use SXPS 16 for some time, and it seems sturdy enough for my need....
little to no flex on the palm rest, the bad is, the ventilation is being blocked by the screen... As for Y560, no idea, never use it.... |
