after updating my PS3 system to 3.21, I found All my BD movie and games cant read by PS3
game will auto jump back and show error 80010017.
my PS3 bought on 2008, it was 40GB fat model
anyone same position as me?

can u deactivate and reactivate back your psn account? this error usually happened at any time (probably due to data corrupt)

it wasn't just related to fw3.21, few ps3 owners encountered this error from fw2.80...

activate/deactivate system 5 time oledi, still cant read the BD

I can say 99% related to 3.21 system update

No problem so far..Hopefully. *fingers crossed*

mine too is 40gb model bought from bernard in 2008
fully updated/up to date and faced no problem since then...... ever

lately been playing only old games (soul calibur 4, metal gear solid 4, final fantasy xiii jp, guitar heroes, gundam....etc)
havent even played / purchased any 2010 games yet

Sorry to hear this brother. I think you got no luck in this generation consoles, first Xbot and now PS3 . You can fully concentrate in Nintendo Wii.

Oh ya, for sure someone will ask you to change to PS3 Slim because the latest PS3 Slim is error FREE

ok jer 40GB phat aku...

I think it's rare case but still Sony should have be more careful in the first place.

i have a funny case here,
i download a few video and demos, and it finished download and only show file size of a 17 - 22kb

and of coz i cant install the demo or view the video.

last PS3 game I play is GOD of War, maybe kratos kill too much god, make god machine fall down.

my polystation3 die after playing god of war 3
both short form is GOW

The 2 Wii games come closest to GOW are Gate of Thunder and Geometry Wars.. better be safe than sorry
