very low demand lah .. most ppl here wun care much abt the racq condition ... whack until the next new racq that comes along ... so v few ever change their grommets .. even some dunno wat grommet is ..  so go figure smile.gif
*
Brother, don't say like that la. Not changing the grommet doesn't mean we don't care about our rackets. If you take care of your rackets properly, the grommet would last for a very long period of time. Of course, the bumper guard would definitely shows wear and tear and normal scratches, but grommet can still be used. I myself has extra sets of grommet in hand, just in case the one that I'm using is spoiled or broken but so far, after years of using and abusing, grommet seems still in good condition. Now, go figure too. biggrin.gif

alo guys.. if we bring strung racket to stringer shop, can we know the tension of the string?..
*
You can try bring your racket to Pacific shop in Damansara (beside Atria). They should have the stringbed tension measurement machine.

Bro sophis, I think the reason lies within the specs of the racket itself. Pure Drive and Radical Tour are two different rackets. Different swing weight may resulted you to adjust your swing speed to get the same output you had when using Pure Drive. Agaknye la. biggrin.gif

this one u must ask kokolomondo.. he has a decent double backhand.. but i heard from an old timer.. for double hander.. footwork must b good coz reach limitations...
*
My backhand is not so good la and so will my explaination. Hehe.
Hmmm.. How to explain eh? I guess better if you read it here: http://tennis.about.com/od/forehandbackhan...ic2backhand.htm

But what I could tell is that you'll need to determine which grip to use on each hand. I have watch somewhere where it mention that double handed backhand is actually you left hand (if you're a righty) forehand. And yes, you'll need to move quicker to be able to hit with double handed backhand as you may not be able to fully stretch while both hands on the racket.

QUOTE(vobs @ Jun 2 2010, 07:14 PM)
Ok, its time to take it off topic, I posted a few debate on my facebook, maybe you guys can answer:)

1) dampener or without? why
2) single or double backhand? why
3) nike or adidas? why
4) topspin forehand or flat forehand? why
5) open stance or close stance? why

So who willing to answer, no correct or wrong, just a topic to wipe out the flame:)
*
Wohooo. Good question mate. Hope it's not too late for me to participate. biggrin.gif

1) dampener or without? With. I prefer the 'thud' sound rather than 'ping'.
2) single or double backhand? Double on normal stroke, single if tak sempat or have to reach ball far away.
3) nike or adidas? Nike. I like their overall design better.
4) topspin forehand or flat forehand? Depends. Flat forehand from middle of the court would be great.
5) open stance or close stance? Depends. But usually it's close stance for me.

Hehehe. Yo vobs, what's your FB? cool2.gif
