Having Bernie Mataki would be freaking badass. I always wanted to actually see her.
Would also totally spice up the story since she always seems to be the "mom" of the group.
But IIRC she's of the same race as Tai Kaliso, so I don't think she's blonde mirite?

Looks more like a prequel to me...
1) 'dom' looks like he's 60 years old, but Marcus and the rest looks younger? So he's not Dom?
2) The lancer has no chainsaw! At least the one the 'girl' gives 'dom'
3) The COG armor looks more primitive without the sleeves

But that does not explain the kickass shotgun and Dom being missing. Hopefully it won't be some lame time travel scenario/shite.

A listing on GameStop's site for something called "Gears of War Ultimate" appeared yesterday, without fanfare or elaboration. It will cost you $29.99 and will be out on Feb. 15, 2011.
There were no other details on what the bundle will contain, although Epic confirmed to IGN that this does not involve Gears of War 3 or the Gears of War 3 beta --just as you'd expect,
given the low, low price. Gears 3 is expected to hit in the Fall of 2011, so, if I had to guess what the Ultimate box is, I'd speculate that it's a re-packaging of the first two Gears games to
give uninitiated players a look into the Gears universe well in advance of the release of the third game in the Gears series.

Earlier this month we brought you news about the Gears of War 3 beta.  If Xbox 360 owners buy the Epic Edition of Bulletstorm, you can can get early access to the Gears 3 multiplayer beta. 
Co-founder and president of Epic Games, Mike Capp, recently talked to Gamespot about the tie-in.  He said the beta would be released "sometime around April or so."  Attentive gamers may note
that April was the planned release date for Gears 3 before it got pushed backed. to autumn 2011. Looks like Microsoft and Epic want some of that gargantuan holiday sales money games like Halo: Reach
and Call of Duty: Black Ops earned this year.

The developers don't need a beta to tell them that brighter maps are more popular on the multiplayer front. According to Xbox 360 The Official Xbox Magazine, a game map's popularity is almost directly
related to how bright it is.

”So in addition to the muted browns and grays that have been so prevalent in the Gears series, we can now expect muted blue as well.  Hopefully they have time to add some more colors to the game, instead of a 1000 shades of apocalypse.
