Spurs was really good that night, if it wasnt cech, we have been at least 5 down already.
Terry was not performing and Drogba also been under-par since vs MU match. |

QUOTE(madfag @ Apr 24 2010, 11:21 AM) HereCARLO ANCELOTTI will wield the axe at Chelsea this summer - regardless of what silverware they win. The Blues, who are chasing the Double, face Stoke tomorrow in a match the players know they have to win to keep up their push for the title. But whatever happens over the next month, Ancelotti has revealed he will bring in FIVE Academy players to the first-team squad next season. The Stamford Bridge boss also expects to make at least two new signings, meaning a total of SEVEN stars of the current crop will be leaving. Owner Roman Abramovich is fully behind new Premier League rules on the number of home-grown players who must be included in a first-team squad. And Ancelotti named the five who will get their chance next season as forward Fabio Borini, midfielder Nemanja Matic, striker Gael Kakuta plus defenders Patrick van Aanholt and Jeffrey Bruma. The Italian said: "The only sure thing will be that there will be five players from the Academy in the squad next season. "Some players will maybe move on. Some we will move. It's not because we don't have the money. It's because we want to give strength to our Academy. "We have very good young players and this is the time to put them in the squad for next year. They are able to stay in Chelsea's squad." Heading for the Blues exit door are thirty somethings Hilario, Paulo Ferreira, Juliano Belletti and Deco. Midfielders Joe Cole, 28, and Michael Ballack, 33, have yet to agree new deals and may be forced to find new clubs. Defender Michael Mancienne, 22, is likely to be allowed to leave and make his loan deal at Wolves permanent. Ancelotti remained coy on who the club could sign in the transfer window but there will be substantial funds available for the right player. Kaka's first season at Real Madrid has been a disaster following his £62million switch and he may be tempted to take up the offer to join his old AC Milan boss in London for next season. The likes of £50m for one player will only be spent on the Brazil playmaker or Liverpool marksman Fernando Torres - if he becomes available. Chelsea are also keeping tabs on Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero and Bayern Munich midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger. Ancelotti insisted the Chelsea fans will be delighted to see fresh blood coming through as well as new faces from outside the club - especially if they start next season as champions. He said: "They'll be happy if Chelsea win the title and the FA Cup. "After that, I think they will see some new players in the future." |

JOE COLE wants to join Champions League qualifiers Spurs.
Cole's Chelsea contract ends this summer and he would jump at the chance to be re-united with his old boss Harry Redknapp. Spurs clinched a place in Europe's biggest club competition with their 1-0 win at Manchester City on Wednesday. But Cole, 28, was already looking to White Hart Lane even before that result. The England midfielder has been mulling over a huge offer from City themselves and knows of interest from Liverpool. But he does not want to move north and Spurs would suit him if they can come up with wages over the £100,000-a-week mark. However that could be a stumbling block as until now they have been reluctant to go above £60,000. Redknapp nurtured Cole from the age of 14 at West Ham. The Spurs boss is also interested in a fresh move for Craig Bellamy, whom he missed out on last year. He is also keen on midfielder Steven Pienaar, who has 12 months left on his Everton contract. |
