QUOTE(polkiuj @ Apr 15 2010, 04:55 PM) BREAKING NEWS! full story pls.....come on share with us.... OUR PRESIDENT HAS JUST BEEN POISONED BY A LYN & CPF MEMBER! Poor president's wallet is now slightly lighter. He's also pretty stoked about being poisoned. QUOTE(uncle wong @ Apr 15 2010, 06:36 PM) 2 x AA Flashlight recommendation there's plenty 2 AA setup flashlight, but for the best thrower with XPG-R5 look no further than the Dereelight Javelin.... High Lumens ,must be Bright enough to light up something up to 150 feet away. Any Suggestion ? first suggestion from me 1) EagleTac P20A2 Mark II ( 230 Lumens ) ( XP-G Led) ( 2xAA) + using p60 standard drop in + can use 2 AA / 3 AA [ with extension tube ] + can lego with C2H - so it can use 123 & 1 AA [ with extension tube ], so in total you would have 4 diff battery setup note : EagleTac Mark ll series is also highly recommended too for the superior beam profile and runtime too ! QUOTE(pseudoblue @ Apr 29 2010, 02:26 AM) yeah, i was playing with my wife's Canon more often than flashlight now..... QUOTE(susuman @ Apr 29 2010, 09:40 AM) Daiko, either your skill or your Canon kits lens is damn good, maybe both. Your photo looks like advertisement to me. it's definitely not my skill....if you look closely, it's slightly under exposed and out of focus.....now i need a good flash, tripod, f1.4 lens and a macro lens so badly.... First thing I do is search for Tool Logic knife in ebay and google, damn you poison master (besides pseudoblue, damon I. P. S.*) * LBS -> IBS (infinite brightness system) -> IPS (Incredible / infinite / irresistible Poisonous System / Syndicate ) i bought mine from amazon [ with other tool logic's stuff ] + some macro pelican cases. parcel came in on Monday [ surprisingly no tax or being detained by customs ! ] |

QUOTE(susuman @ Apr 29 2010, 10:43 AM) Under exposed is better than over exposed, and bounce flashlight definitely helps. really appreciate your advise ! The out of focus is maybe your F (Aperture) is too big for the light condition (low light, so F go to max (yours is 3.5?), hence lots of bokeh/blurness), try limit it to >5.6 may help sharpen the image (whole picture staying in focus). But the bokeh / out of focus blurness can be good effect anyway. All these can be helped by tri-pot and bounce flash, but not the F1.4, haha, at 1.4, it will be more out of focus for close up shot. Not have a chance to buy a macro lens, haha, all $$ used up in flashlight. Overall, the photo is still very much prefect to my eyes. Oh, your composition is damn good, this 1 I really tapik, you will even wet the knife for better effect, brilliant Damn, more shipment coming in? Wah, the water is just to tone down the harshness of the hard steel ....but was not properly done also.... next shipment should be somewhere in June...maybe....i wanna get a birthday present for my daughter ....what's bokeh anyway? And some of you have amassed some huge collections since the last few times we mamak'ed back then. you're back active, and i'm gonna be MIA for a while (for the benefit of csshih; mamak is a slang for an indian muslim. In this case, it refers to a coffee shop run by mamak's that are often open 24 hours or at least till very late in the night) I haven't seen refnulf and his Kong-12 for a while though. |
