Good to hear that. thumbup.gif
Maybe the shipping method when I bought the Utorch prohibited the shipping of Li-Ion

convoy got its own website or nt? i always heard of the brand, but nvr get to find its website sad.gif
*
They don’t have any website but thye do have their online store at Aliexpress, where you can send a message to the owner, Simon, if you have any query before you make the purchase.
Other than that, you can buy their lights from Banggood and Gearbest too.
But just be cautious coz some time ago, Gearbest sold fake Convoy

I thought streamlight would be better brand compare to fenix, olight and nitecore?
*
To me, unless you're going to mount your flashlight onto a shotgun or something like that, or your life depends on it, I don't see the need of going for Streamlight, Surefire, Alzetta, etc as you are paying premium for their brand names and the Made in USA sticker.

Flashlight technology, be it the emitter choice, battery, programmable switch, etc keep on evolving and I tend to change my EDC torchlight once every year or two when new technology is available.

Rofis

This is the light in my car glove-box and to be honest, I've never of this brand at all last year but that doesn't stop me from trying this brand for the 1st time.

woah king light.

how are you brave enough to put li-ion in car. Isn't it a little too spicy hot for it?

btw hows the light?
*
As I park the car in basement carpark during office hours and covered porch at home, not really a concern of the li-ion battery in the car.
For many years I kept Surefire E2e or Pelican M6 with primary 123 as glove box light, but you know how dim they are if compared to budget 18650 light from Convoy, etc that I decided to use li-ion light as my car glove box light instead.

The Rofis is a very good, general purpose light as it comes with 2 emitters and built-in USB charger/power bank.
The primary light is kinda flooded, with cool white tint while the secondary light is warm, I reckon around 4500K.
Very versatile as can be used for car emergency along the road, black-out, camping, tracking at night, etc.
It's a jack of all trades light

FW3A is an amazing light I gotta say. User interface is fun!
Indeed it is.
I use it as my bedside light as the UI ramping from moonlight to turbo is quite useful.
No need to click a few times to get the desired brightness

Guys this looks very tempting

Pay premium for the titanium body.
Plus the maximum brightness of 350 lumens is kinda low for 18650 flashlight, no?

Hey the link is back on shopee
I bought it for RM152 for the 5000K XP-L HI

Only light. No other accessories. If you are buying maybe consider adding turboglow in your cart. Very interesting addition notworthy.gif
*
It's a very good light and has becomes my bedside table light due to the excellent Andruil UI. thumbsup.gif
Can ramp from moonlight to high with just a single press.
The only minus thing that I can think of is that it doesn't provide USB charging

On my FW3A (anodized aluminium sand-coloured), I can just twist the head a little for lock-out.

Received Astrolux MF01 Mini on the last day of puasa.
My first torchlight with USB-C charging port.
My other rechargeable lights are only micro USB port.
Also my 2nd light with Anduril FW.
It’s a good UI, just a little bit buggy like others commented.
The size next to Lumintop FW3A

has anyone got this thrower by manker? it's the u22ii, and has a claimed beam distance of 1,020m, easily dethroning the catapult v6! ohmy.gif

waiting for radiant den to bring this in  icon_idea.gif
*
It sure nice to hold due to the smaller head for a thrower.

But why not consider the tried and tested Astrolux FT03?
It's cheaper and brighter, albeit with much bigger head and body?

What do you guys use throwers for? I don't go fishing or trekking so my c8 with sst40 barely even use cuz beam too tight for me.

Just curious for thrower use case.
*
Similar case for me.
My throwers (2015 Olight M2X-UT Javelot & 2016 Utorch UT02) are the least use lights in my collection.
I kept them by the window to shine at stray dogs barking outside at night

Sofirn

This light seems to be very affordably priced.
Can serve as beater light or those lights that you don't have any problem lending it to your friends biggrin.gif

I've placed an order for this light, so let see how long will I receive it from Sofirn

*
Before Shopee and Lazada, used to buy lights from Banggood, Gearbest and Aliexpress.
But now, I'd rather wait for the lights to appear in Shopee and Lazada, for peace of mind

Oh my, I've left this hobby quite some time ago but am still interested from time to time.
Can anyone recommend a good AA flashlight as well as a headlamp (with a 90 degree angle like the zebralight)?
Been out of the game too long.

Are the Chinese lights getting better? Just saw in the last page about Sofirn.
Anything else I should look out for?
*
Sofirn is currently offering the most bangs for bucks, as their lights are priced cheaper compared to Nitecore, Fenix, Olight, etc
Sofirn also have their own online stores at Lazada and Shoppee, so you no longer have to shop online at Ali 'Not' Express, Banggood, etc.
Other brands that are offering similar bangs for bucks include Convoy, Astrolux and Lumintop.

For AA light, hard to beat Lumintop Tool

I bought the Tiki for Rm55, including shipping fr Shopee seller fr PRC.
Now the Tiki GITD from the same PRC seller is Rm85.
I know local sellers are selling for Rm105 or so

Will wait for the price to drop before I'll consider the GITD. biggrin.gif

Got this 2 mini monster yesterday for EDC. Had not bought any light since last year, but cannot get my intereste past 2 light. The Manker MC13 & Manker E14 III.

Manker MC13 (Thrower)
Emitter : OSRAM KW CULNM1.TG LED (white light)
Max. 950 lumens output, Max. 760meters beam distance

Manker E14 (Flooder)
Emitter : 4x Samsung LH351D
Maximum output: 4,000 lumen, Max beam distance: 155meters

Both powered by 1x 3.7V 1100mAh high drain protected 18350 li-ion battery with Type-C USB port.

Now I can keep the bigger light at home for short trip. smile.gif
*
Nice little lights you have there.
They seem to complement one another.

For your E14, is it cool white or neutral white?
I joined the BLF groupbuy for these 2 lights combo and for the E14, I opted for the 4000K neutral white tint.
As this will be my first Samsung LED, I'm not sure what to expect of their tint, as my neutral white tints light are mainly Nichias 219B, 219C, XPL-HI and SST-40 emitters.

I just received a Jetbeam RRT03 with Nichia 219C 4000K and hopefully I can compare the tint of the Samsung and Nichia when the BLF combo arrived.

I got the single 5000k LH351D from kaidomain and my friend had the single 6000k I think from somewhere else. (I think intl outdoor but I'm not sure. Comes on noctigon board)
I couldn't really say they're outstanding 90CRI LEDs. They feel like a domed XPL to me but without rainbow tint shift.

The tint however is quite green imo. Very similar to the old XP-G2 cool whites from the 2 samples I see. Checking BLF and reddit everyone said the same about green.
Fine for me but not as pleased compared to the god led named nichia 219b rose tint doh.gif  tongue.gif
My expectation too high.
But the output is very comparable to the XP-L2 I replaced on my Sofirn SP31. Milky green white with bigger hotspot goodings thumbup.gif
*
That's the thing bro.
When we put the Nichia 219B rosy tint as the standard, all other tints can looks mediocre tongue.gif
On paper, the Manker E14 neutral white is supposed to be Samsung 4000K, so roughly I know what to expect from the colour as I have the 219C and SST40 in 4000K.
But if the tint will turn out greenish, I will be very disappointed.

I will directly compare my quad-emitter Astrolux S41, with 219B 5000K against the E14.
The S41 is already 4 years old, but I'm sure it will still hold the ground against newer light
