QUOTE(eow1973 @ Jul 2 2010, 01:54 PM) That's why I bought a few more from Uncle's second GB. Already lost 3 dereelight dropins, 2 due to overheat and 1 because I put a 4.2V dropin in a 2X18500 host:x . I'm happy you like it.Anyway, I have received the M6 from JWYJ. What a beautiful light and in perfect condition, too! James really takes care of his lights. Regarding the spoilt drop-ins, maybe they are not totally spoilt. Sometimes only the driver is burnt. Try to wire a battery directly to the pill and see if it lights up. If yes you can try unsoldering and reusing it. |

You can visit me for the eneloops, I got some more.Added on July 3, 2010, 7:24 am QUOTE(LightJunk @ Jul 2 2010, 11:57 PM) 18650 can fit but only malkoff drop-in is suitable. Other drop-ins are too big. You have to remove some of the edges.Added on July 3, 2010, 7:27 am QUOTE(damonlbs @ Jul 3 2010, 01:51 AM) The e-series is here,http://www.opticshq.com/page/Optics/PROD/FL-CPF-T2-TX2 All pms replied. QUOTE(susuman @ Jul 3 2010, 10:47 AM) The Wine Light as some deep scratches, you can see from the picture. I like it because I love the colour, if you interested just let me know. Ya, I was too excited when I got it. I use a knife to cut the bubble wrap and the knife is too sharp. |

Any interest? Thinking of selling it, body only inclusive clicky switch.
Parallel body using 3 x 18650 for super long run time on high mode using those 4.2V LEDs. For safety I will also include 3 pieces of 3.2 LiFePO4 batteries charged once to 3.7V. Say around USD150.00 for body & 3 batteries. You can use all these heads such as TLS heads/M3 clone/M4/M3 etc..... This post has been edited by jwyj: Jul 7 2010, 03:53 PM Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(eow1973 @ Jul 9 2010, 01:30 AM) Just received James's (jwyj) Malkoff MD2 host. Like James said, the standard P60 dropins do not fit the MD2 bezel without some shaving. So I had the Dereelight XP-G reflector sand-papered until just right. Also found a piece of lens that came with the FM18650 body which had to be shaved too. Hehe, I never knew that you have to remove the inner spring when you use the Malkoff bodies. ![]() MD2 (left) and 6P, narrower spill due to the small bezel opening. Both with Thrunite XP-G pill from Uncle Wong. ![]() Until a Malkoff dropin comes along, the Thrunite will have to do. The best thing about the MD2 is that despite the small body, it doesn't slip forward as you press the clicky unlike most Chinese-made lights. Regarding the narrower spill, I was wondering if you used a SST-50 pill, would it be better or just a wide hot spot with little side spill.. |

QUOTE(Tally-ho @ Jul 16 2010, 07:22 PM) Nice "semainier". Can I call these my "un semainier"?When you use a set of 7 straight razors of the same brand/manufacturer, one for each days of the week, we call this "un semainier" (in french, "une semaine" is "a week"). ![]() ![]() ![]() I use sometimes more than 1 of these each night. ![]() But not exactly EDC materials. ![]() I think some of the lights are on low or medium in this photo. |
