Yeah, a lot of poison due to that Varapower 2000.

However, the tests show that it is nowhere near the claimed 3000 lumens. In fact only half that sad.gif

Ok lah, the 3000 lumens is probably emitter lumens (better marketing). Normally the loss is 20-30%, so OTF should be 2100. But now only about 1500.

read the thread,
the reading was max out ohmy.gif they want to build a new 1 that can go 3000 lumens sweat.gif

1538 lumens is the max your sphere system/meter can read. I believe that light puts out more and the meter is simply maxxed out. You need for these guys to chip in and get you the bigger 24 inch sphere system so you can read lights up over 3500 lumens.

Am undecided to get which one...i prefer tail clicky, which EZ123 is not. But i like EZ123's appearance.

Thanks damonlbs.

It seems that the McClicky + Brass does a better job. Almost all my twisty were upgraded to McClicky. How about the Surefire original clicky tail cap?

Anybody interested in a mint Surefire C2 Centurion? I am selling just the host and bulb it came with. Body is not bored. Twisty tailcap. No dings & scratches. Used for less than 10 minutes together with the Linger R5 Special. Drop-in not for sale.
