my little additions. i know, i know... i said i prefer cylindrical lights but thought i'd give these impressive guys a chance to shine. well, they're exactly as they're made out to be... packs a punch in such a small package. and they're light. weight is seriously negligible. again a matter of personal preference but i think i'll stick to my cylindrical lights. still amazed by how much light this small fella emits though.

Only need to be careful because of accidental on.
Same with the Tupp but fortunately the Tupp has lockout mode.

For EDC, I use the TIP 2017 attached to keychain. Very practical. thumbup.gif

with the tini i was putting size above everything else. no doubt the tip has far better stamina. but size to stamina ratio, the tini still trumps the tip. and whilst the tupp is a brilliant edc too, i'd say it's in a diffferent league altogether.

by the looks of it, the nightwalker, as huislaw pointed out, is raw poison sweat.gif

yeah... an edc is pretty much a personal choice, and it really depends on your personal priorities. i have either my olight ie3 or thrunite t01 as my keychain lights. i dangle the tini as a zipper tab on my backpack utility compartment. will bring along my manker u12 for my next road trip... although i am awfully tempted to bring the u22 too! sweat.gif

Looking at the recessed buttons, this shouldn't on accidentally like the TINI and the TUP. thumbup.gif

Looking at nitecore tip, I think I am more hooked towards the Lumintop EDC05C

No sign of it in their official website but there's a BLF review of it.

Looks tiny for a AA light with XHP35 on 14500 only though.

Nice! thumbup.gif

But according to the reviewer:
QUOTE
The 5 on the left worked fine, the 2 protected black cells worked but I couldn't fully tighten the end cap, though it's usable that way. The 3 on the right did not work. So the only flat top I got working was the EFEST, and the 2 protected cells had issues with the length.

Most 14500 lights I experienced all had issues with protected cells so that isn't new to me sweat.gif
My Thorfire TG06 is the only light that fits a long keeppower sanyo protected cell and even that has issues in removing batteries.

I kinda stayed obedient and only use unprotected so far. Button top or not should be a gamble in this light then nod.gif
