Bro old newspaper , Thanks for the beamshot
The Thrunite drop-in hot spot is bright & nice  thumbup.gif
For a pocket size flashlight , i prefer more spill over throw .
*
yeah, this drop in has a very huge and smooth hot spot and a huge spill too thumbup.gif [ but i prefer a thrower than a spiller tongue.gif ] imho, this is so much better than the DX's drop in.....anf for the price we're getting, this is definitely the steal deal !

QUOTE(eow1973 @ May 13 2010, 07:59 AM)

The Thrunite P60 dropin is really bright.  For that kind of price, Uncle Wong should do another round of GB for this dropin. thumbup.gif

to my surprise the beam wasn't ringy at all with Turbo Force head and it really does throw well with good spill too ! great job done Lumapower ! thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

note : my first batch of D-Mini VX Ultra's SST-50 has a lot more warmer tint compare to the newest batch...this could be the different bin used, but i like it as it does throw further than the cooler tint biggrin.gif

Is that the drop in from the 2nd run? I got one from the first run from CPFMP and it went blue as soon as I fire it up. Luckily the seller refund me. I shipped it to Steve for him for replacement.

How is yours doing?
*
nod.gif from the second run....mine was the 3 mode 1.4 amp.

mine is working great with 1 x 16340/RCR123. no turning blue in my case....fitting is just perfect, no sanding require ! biggrin.gif

don't worry, Steve is known for his excellent CS and i'm sure he'll take care of your issue. icon_rolleyes.gif

LightJunk,

Oh no ohmy.gif  sad.gif

Why, if not my credit card just expired and need to relink it and my Internet was downed due to lightning strike, I supposed to order it already  doh.gif

Haiz... its ok lar, 1A still not bad , I hardly use high anyway, normally Low low and Mid is what I use most, just want the 1.4A to have the Wow all around to surprise ppl .  biggrin.gif

Anyway, any specific reason, besides reduced the size? Perhaps heat related issue? hmm.gif
*
don't worry my friend....i already email him [ Steve ] to reserve one 1.4A 3 mode NW for you if still available.....

reduce size because of change of driver. [ to a smaller driver ] not due to the heat issue, most people requested him to change the driver in order to run 1 x CR123....
