UC35 vs K40S

I need a suggestion on a flashlight for my in laws. They are living in the woods where the surrounding areas are dark at night and the house to the front gate is around 100 meters at least. The compound is huge with chicken coops everywhere and three big ponds. Maybe a reliable one which can be shone from the house to the surrounding areas with chargeable batteries. Budget between RM100-RM300.

i would choose any 4xaa light, can get from rm200-250.
then remainder just buy batts + charger.

but i think the jetbeam still throws the furthest amongst the 4xaa crowd.
thrunite tho got advantage with having proper low mode.

this guy im sure some familiar with, tested lots of 4xaa lights and say sra40 out-throws it by 28m.
of cos in real life the diff is abit negligible

I will drop your store when free. i saw a word "XPL HI". Is that a model/type of  CREE/ LED? Anyone have the introduction page for them?

It's a Cree LED no worries.

It's basically XML2 LED in the size of XP footprint

I guess I didn't do much explaining here but XPL is the normal domed version and XPL HI is domeless version for people who need throw

ya but even so, but one guy on amazon said the tn4a HI still doesnt out-throw the sra40.
guess all to do with projector design, as i guess the tn4a is built for more spill?
or maybe one night u do gathering and test all

Anybody here knows is there a product P60 drop-in with XP-L HI and long throw? What brand and possible local seller. I can't order online since I don't have credit card

The P60 must have at least 2 modes, low and high modes. Single mode is not flexible.
