QUOTE(giggz @ Mar 27 2017, 08:50 AM) Hi guy. Any comments for Fenix E15 2016 Edition? How about the battery. Can i get outside if the battery run out? I want use it as my EDC. Many thanks for reply. You can give this Olight Chinese copy a try. Instead of expensive single use cr123 you can use the li-ion alternative 16340

Hi guys i am looking for NCR18650GA based batteries with protection circuit either from a known supplier (Nitecore, Keeppower, etc) or otherwise (no brand). Anyone can recommend a seller locally? I found this supplier on lelong, anyone can vouch for him? https://www.lelong.com.my/sanyo-3500mah-ncr...7-01-Sale-I.htmFor some reason he has 3 of otherwise the same battery priced differently with what seems to be different protection circuit used.

I had bought ncr18650b battery from Gearbest before and knowing that all battery is original. Lelong wise, I'm doubt the originality of the battery whether is it imitation or otherwise.

Hi, yup familiar with those guys unfortunately they do not carry the Sanyo NCR18650GA (with button top which I need). Went to Gadgetworld last Saturday and got an Olight RCR123 though. Since I am not able to get my cells locally I am planning to get from my usual light online seller from HK. I bought a couple of lights from them. hkequipment Keeppower 3500mha

Gadgetworld2u selling the Panasonic NCRB for RM30 each so kinda of makes sense i guess coz it means about RM50 each piece after conversion and shipping. Searching on other forums it seems that the Nitecore NL1835 and Olight 3600mAh versions are also using NCR18650GA from Sanyo cells inside and they are selling around RM100 each by Gadgetworld2u. QUOTE(power911 @ May 15 2017, 03:43 PM) hkequipment good? I've never really tried buying from them I guess so. They sell on ebay too under the same name and can be cheaper than their site coz you can offer them your price. Bought a Jetbeam PA10 and Thrunite Ti years ago and recently a Nitecore SRT5 from them. Shipment took about 1.5 weeks. Items always well packed and they have 140k feedback with 99+% positive review. Man i sound like a sales man from them hahaha. QUOTE(fortysix&2 @ May 25 2017, 10:48 PM) Any Li-ion/nimh lsd based lights w mechanical switch or eswitch that able to mechanical lockout Yup mechanical lockout works great to prevent parasitic drain, if you remember to do it every time before storage In situations where you forget and it drains out, its gonna suck. So best bet is to have spare batteries nearby the flashlight at all times, especially for your grandparents

Thx in advance I'm extra curious on how well it performs though. I might be getting one soon But as for batteries the highest capacity right now is NCR18650GA from Panasonic/Sanyo If you don't want to spend too much, a common green Panasonic NCR18650B is fine
