nahh not yet... still XML T6 under 1A power

this is the problem that's stopping me from getting the PD35
cuz it's already bright enough lol

Buy both and do a review comparison. tongue.gif
I did a test with my lux meter, PD35 lumen output is higher than most light rated higher than it. The only thing is because of the small head the heat kinda build up faster than most.

This is my own test of amp measurement on the PD35 2014 over the 5 modes.

960 lumen XM-L2 U2
Using Fenix 3600Mah 3.7v 18650 battery

Eco 14lm
0.04a

Low 50lm
0.10a

Medium 180lm
0.35a

High 460lm
1.12a - 0.36a

Turbo 960lm
1.11a
1.8a on CR123 3.0v X 2

officially accepted into the bright side forums tongue.gif

maybe I'll just migrate there

anyway, my other package arrived.
Glow Blue tailcaps and TIR reflector for my osram light

the glow blue actually glows green... kinda disappointing but they glow well

the reflector is too fat... also disappointing but easy mod with some sandpaper to fit laugh.gif

got a lot of olight and nitecore can charge via usb oso

like olight s10r/s15r or nitecore MH series

but with the size of a powerbank you're better off with more 18650's instead tongue.gif

fenix uc35 fits your needs biggrin.gif
(failed to help lol)

haha true but i do not have a 18650 charger. oh oh i know about the olight but if i am not wrong those olight can only be used with their battery right? with the uc35 you can just throw any 18650 and it will work and also charge

olight recommends working with their own batts but they're just an ordinary panasonic 3400 cell wrapped with protection.

you can avoid it if you're afraid of battery danger but I don't see a problem as long as it is charging with the correct algorithm

single 18650 charger can be easily made by ripping off dead powerbanks just to use their charge circuit
I'd still recommend you to use proper charging from Xtar or Nitecore.

Charging in a flashlight tube brings me worries about heat and voltage issues where you can't monitor them

(but then again I'm not the right person to speak as I'm using some xxxFire 18650 risking my life because my good cells died) doh.gif sweat.gif rolleyes.gif

stay safe and happy charging

wanna know more about my batts?

I dumped all of my sanyo 18650 purple tops because my RM10 NightFire 18650 provides more amps and runtime and doesn't overheat when I charge them with 1A

my sanyos were all dead overheated when charging it with 1A yawn.gif

good cells are too expensive whistling.gif
