I think W995 is a better buy. The price has dropped to about only RM100 or RM200 more than Elm.

I played with Elm test unit yesterday, the buttons are easy to press, the phone is nice to hold.

But the lack of 3.5mm jack means I have to use Sony's earphones, no? That's a turn off for me.

agreed this phones do lack some features but compare to C901 (which i wanted) is very similar. i'm thinking to replace my wife's old K750i with this

ya...last time i also wan to buy C901...but the company says the C901 will replace with this hp

there is special application for youtube. find it on menu -> organiser -> applications. it's the last one on the list. works like a charm for me

no.. night shots aren't as good. i can see some lines even at iso160. the flash is very weak actually. video is not bad at VGA, 30fps.

thats something wrong today on my phone.. my phone cant sims to browse the internet using wifi.. even it is connecting to the wifi.. any solutions?
edit: now the default browser can connect using wifi already.. but opera mini cant connect..

ok we're in luck. when add entry, after setting time, subject etc, there is a 2nd tab to add details location, description & yes.... recurrence . default is no recurrence but if u edit that u can select daily until yearly

design not bad...got 5mp some more...value for money

to me the cam is adequate for bright light scene so that i don't miss my digicam much. but in dark area it still lacks.

how is the gps? Is it free if we want to have other map than m'sia?

gps for navigation i think u can forget it. it got wisepilot & some other features which i don't use anyway. maybe u can geotag the photos. that's about it. gps navi on this model i think it uses phone network data so it's not free.

What makes this ELM different from other SE typical candy bar phone? other than the social apps?

reception is fine for me. if u know it's limitation (like small screen), u should be happy with the phone

HHHmmm... currently doing comparison this model with W705 & Yari... wanna take either one for my wife. Currently, Yari will suite her I think..

If u want slide type, better take SE Hazel , the spec are same as elm, with extra features like big screen, 2nd camera.

how about the GPS??working well??

Hazel might cost me more right... ?

As looking to Public Bank 0% interest scheme which only have W705, Yari & Elm as RM700 ~ 900 budget options...
