You can check this site for deals if you're anxious. Very handy to check deals from Impulse, D2Drive, Gamer's Gate etc. in one place.

QUOTE(kianweic @ May 14 2010, 02:30 PM) I don't think that site I linked lists price drops. Price drops are permanent price changes. I think that site only lists temporary sales discounts. For price drops, I like to check this thread on the Steam forums, since Steam doesn't always announce price drops. It's a bit hard to read however as it tries to cover all territories.http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/show...ad.php?t=518670 |

It's not a civ game. It's a city builder game. Think of things like Settlers, Pharoah, CivCity: Rome, etc.

Damn it. Now I can't finish the check out process too. Must be everyone else trying to buy Tropico 3. Quit hogging the sales transaction server, people!

QUOTE(prasys @ Jun 25 2010, 12:10 PM) Ask deimos , he can get you region locked games. They will work fine , as its given as a gift to you. Its another story if you buy it yourself. You can fool the thing by using the US trick and purchasing it. THe thing is that your steam account will be locked and your credit card will be bared for a while. Some concern bank will call you , saying that your credit card has been blocked for a while as request by vendor on illegal purchase or some shit. Just say you're aware of it and you'll contact the vendor. Just send a nice support ticket and they'll unbar your account and credit card or just wait. Some people dont want to risk this , so its recommended to go through Deimos. Seriously? I've been interested in Bully since forever but there doesn't seem to be any way of getting it in Malaysia. I don't want to get into a lot of hassles with my credit card either.@Deimos , rules are rules. You'll have to adhere to the forum rules ,nevertheless |

QUOTE(talexeh @ Jun 25 2010, 03:48 PM) Err... not sure why but LYN filtered ref in the link I provided you into FSM. Actually, most games do not support giftable extra copies. Only a few specific titles support it as the support page mentions. This are the generally the Valve games and a few others.I would recommend that you read through the KB. Just go to the Support tab & do a search with keyword Extra Copies. |

QUOTE(schrodinger_cat @ Jun 27 2010, 11:59 AM) The problem varies from person to person. No, I'm not on any torrent app. I've close every single non-essential programs via task manager/msconfig. I've tried reinstalling, deleting the registry keys, deleting Clientregistry.blob, restarting my PC for several times like idiots, disabling firewall, redo portforwarding, bla bla anything that was posted on Steam supporting forum. The only thing I haven't done is reformatting my PC, which I think it won't solve the problem at all. I already raised ticket to Steam support and pending for their reply. You also need to make sure that no other computer on your home network is using any p2p software. Generally, always all of my Steam connection problems are connected to p2p stuff. Sometimes Steam can be slow, but it always succeeds in connecting eventually so long as no p2p stuff is active. Note that some software use p2p which may not be obvious. Updating World of Warcraft uses p2p for example in the background. |
