2 of those games are utter rubbish (One is Superboring, the other is Mr. Shit Interface), meaning you're basically getting a $1.50 discount only on a rather old game.

IINM, if your game crashes, sometimes, the Steam UI overlay won't be terminated, which would continue tracking your playtime. Like how that one time I was listed as playing Borderlands non-stop for 1 week (Well that didn't happen for this, something wrong on Valve's side).

QUOTE(Gormaz @ Jun 3 2010, 06:54 PM) Yar, I suspect it's something like that too, I would not take that as an indication the account was hacked, the guy would just have changed the password of it in my opinion. It was a non-Steam copy, so no actual tracking... It was really funny though as I'd be playing OTHER games and it would still show that I'm in Borderlands. But that must have been some pretty funny "Gameplay Stats" after that 1 week stuff. |

If you want to get a taste of Men of War without breaking out the bank, might I suggest picking up Soldiers: Heroes of World War 2 instead from TSB (RM30).
Its the first prequel to Men of War (Men of War is actually the 2nd sequel to Soldiers... The first sequel is Faces of War) and has roughly the same ideas but is smaller in scale and scope. So, if you like it, then Men of War should be right up your alley. |

QUOTE(ashx @ Jun 4 2010, 04:07 PM) Yes, thx for the heads up! After looking it up, its vaguely familiar to me. I seem to remember going thru this or maybe Faces of war... terrible control/AI at that time maybe. I might consider picking up Soldiers tho steam is having it at USD4.99!!! or if lazy i guess i can get it at TSB. Steam says release at 2004 while TSB 2008 lol. I didn't like Faces of War at all... It seemed to branch out more from Soldiers, but they half-arsed it a bit. Heard they fixed most of that crap with Men of War though but I have yet to try it.Anyone into Armor Sim? Like Steel fury: Kharkov 1942 or WWII Battle Tanks: T-34 vs. Tiger? I'm a sucker for those.. on my wishlist Anyway, TSB's Soldiers is the repackaged value one, that's why its 2008 |

kianweic, was it REALLY necessary to go and necro all those threads just because EA *might* be offering a sale?
At the very least, wait until the sale hits. |

Well if you want to help out Warren Spector, pick up a Wii and wait for Epic Mickey to come out.
Yes... Warren Spector's next game... is with Mickey... the mouse... From Disney... REALLY. |
