I dont think it works that way , when you purchase something from steam , it asks you wnat it to send as a gift or send it to you (aka purchase for yourself)

I've not tested using fake e-mail send gift and not claim it. Not sure how long that would last.

What's the point of it if you have to pay for it either way?

say i buy 10 copies and gift to my steam account email but i no redeem them.
sale over.

still got people want to buy.
sell at 4.99

sold out all 10.

4.99 - 2.49 = 2.50
2.50 x 10 = 25

small profit usd25 or about RM80

well, i agree that it will only be applicable for some games, not all.

steam is getting more acceptable by gamers nowadays so this should not be too much of a problem lor.

The game is fun and is most definitely worth paying $7 for, if there are many local servers. Unfortunately, there are only a handful of Singaporean servers and the most popular of which is running a Deathmatch mod (although currently all mods are disabled because of the update). I remember before I stopped playing around 3 years ago, refreshing my server list would yield a total of more than 20,000 servers. I tried refreshing today and I only see 3,000.

I tried Deimos' server just now. But no one was playing. 

I would play like now, but my steam ain't updating. Can't start steam!
