Yo guys..

I'm not familiar in renting a property so just wanna clarify what is the procedure. Normally we deal through an agent.
And each party, the landlord and tenant will have to pay half month rental as fee right?

So when it comes to contract, the agent will prepare a contract and then we sign and get stamp duty done, and that's it?

Now what if the landlord wanna get his/her own lawyer to draft out the contract, as a tenant, what should i do? should i be paying for the additional money needed as lawyer fee?
Or on my side, i just pay the half month agent fee and that's it?
