One more trips to Redang, you can try Berjaya tongue.gif  Combination of both, you will feel relax environment and not packed. Even the room are fully booked, I dont feel the resort accomodate 20% of guest though.

About Rm3xx/room for hillview include 2 breakfast. The early you book, the more discount you will get. My last week trip only Rm6xx/night for beachfront suite.

Snorkeling trip you can get it outside (local villager) for Rm40-50/4-5 hours 5 island stop or Berjaya snorkeling package comes with Rm80 (Bought at KL Office) or Rm120 bought at hotel itself. This also 5 stop island package. 3 stop a bit cheaper. For lunch and dinner, either take hotel buffet (lunch at Rm70, dinner Rm90) or ala carte (Normal hotel food price) or Hazime restaurant (5 min walk) or in front of gate restaurant. Both are normal island meal rates. Hazime cheaper than the other ones.

5 island stop? What does it mean? Continous snorkelling in 4 - 5 island for 4 - 5 hours?

Considering all the ala carte options, it would take me to almost / over the price of Laguna. But considering Laguna's jam packed almost all the time, i would probably prefer Berjaya as well for a more relaxing trip. But no more Redang for me this year. Probably again next year but higher chances of going either to Perhentian or Krabi tongue.gif

And whats the resort right at the end of Long Beach? Looks brand new and nice as well.

5 island stop means they brings us to snorkel at 5 stop include pulau paku kecil, paku besar, ekor tebu, kerengga and I dont remember another 1. But its all depend on the weather and under current though. and yes its continous from 1 island to another. But Berjaya trip dont go marine park.

Wow..The RM 45 seems to be a good price but i wonder could i ever survive snorkelling for straight 4 - 5 hours tongue.gif Out of all Redang Island's snorkelling, i really like Kalong the most. Been to Kerengga twice (but both on different side of the island) as well as Paku (not sure kecil or besar) when i was there a few days ago and i still love Kalong the best. Water there is not as deep as the others, making it way easier to enjoy the corals etc. smile.gif Marine Park is by far the best.

Where do your ferry depart? If Shahbandar jetty, YT Midtown hotel are good for budget and easy access. If your ferry depart from Merang jetty (most of resort ferry), above forumer has mention already.

We at Redang Pelangi are very pleased that you have enjoyed your stay.

BTW, I think you are referring to our BBQ Lamb (not goat meat) on the BBQ night. biggrin.gif
