Actually I wonder Y they used so slow proc on netbooks. 1.6ghz for win XP also I can't stand the sluggishness. What more about windows 7. that's Y I'm still waiting for dual core to be widely available on netbooks, only will get one!

overclock with stock cooling will definitely increase the temp, for a netbook it mostly will overheat. and overclock 100% decrease the battery life.

Err wth with all this people complaining sad.gif

I'm using a year old Acer One netbook with the older N270 1.6 GHz 1GB DDR2,945GZ,Win XP

I wonder what's with all the complaints and so on

Netbook are NOT meant for 1080P playback and so on,its for traveller who wants light personal computer to be carried around and not taking up space in their baggage..though the definition of Netbook says as Internet notebook

From my personal experience ,My Acer One can play 720P movies and can Play DOTA (Medium settings) and PES with (low settings), FIFA 2009 (Med settings)..I mean come on dudes, you dont expect to spend 1.3K on netbook and expect it to work wonders..well if u did, nothing wrong with the technology..only you who overestimate how things are tongue.gif

Atom are also meant for power saving feature, those who bought knows this..the N270 has a max TDP of 2.5 watts only..thats why my N270 with fully charged six cell battery can last for 5 hours..with gaming/movie playback can last around 3 hours

so there is nothing wrong with the technology actually..just that people do not understand the use of netbook paired with Atom series
