 Bipolar & Surround Speaker for 7.1 setup, Advice needed

Hi Sifu,

I'm planning to build my HT in next 2 month cool.gif , need some advice on surround speaker...

1. Do I need to invest in good surround speaker for 7.1 setup ?
2. Can I user 4 bipolar speaker as surround speaker ?

Below is my shortlist item which are a bit above my budget .. anyway i can reduce the cost ?


Shortlisted

AVR :
Denon 1910
Pioneer 1901

Surround Speaker :
Q Acoustic 2010 or 2020 series
Mordaunt Short 903i, 905, 305 sub

Front Speaker :
Old B&W DM603

i donno pioneer 1901 exist. i know only vsx 1019.

u should state ur budget. so that ppl can advised better

Sorry 1019... Budget RM5000+ (avr, surround speaker , center and sub)

me use bipole/dipole (selectable) polk audio fxia4 but for surr left/right,
for surr back i used normal bookshelf same brand and spec... biggrin.gif
