I applied during last day of PC Fair, gave the Streamyx rep copies of my Student Card, IC and Offer Letter.

I haven't been able to get any status from TM or the guy. I've called him and he tells me that dunno have to wait what approval what chop from the college la blablablabla.

Am I waiting for streamyx to go to my college?

Now to find out that Kolej Tunku Abdul Rahman is not on the "list" but the Streamyx people cannot tell me flat out if TARC students are eligible or not.

The Streamyx fella will just say can can, fill in the application form and then nothing. Happy and excited for nothing.

My question is, has ANY TARC students successfully applied, got activation AND gotten their netbooks?

I'd rather they publish big big "TARC students cannot apply because you people are in college and not UNIVERSITY college. Confirm won't approve so don't bother trying!"

Granted, it'll be completely unfair but at least I don't have to get my hopes up and accept the fact that I'm not eligible simply by being in old run-down TARC (ok la, college now renovating not so bad d) instead of the expensive UNIVERSITY colleges (no offense intended to anyone who studying in expensive university colleges).

Homeline install on 23/04 until now no streamyx technician to activate, call 100 say no order found. End up got to go tmpoint again.

Go to TM point and register. Ask them , if its not in the list. They'll ask , and you're able to register. for instance monash is not in the list and yet I am able to register

Let me repeat what you need to have

1. Streamyx UniPack application form - grab it from TM Point
2. Go to students affair department of your university and get it stamped. Some uni will verify if you're 1st year or 2nd year student before you're given the green light

3. Do provide your photocopied IC and student id (back and front) (same applies to IC) together with the application

The netbook ? Common its a netbook , its not a laptop. Forget it , its not able to crunch a lot of data , its just nice if you want to surf or do something. Its not meant to be a laptop.
Why do you go through agents. They aren't authorised to apply for TM unipack. All they can do is apply for homeline. They get their commission and you...well ....

u registered at UTAR sg long , by Candy Lim ? good luck then.. i called countless call and even sent complaint to MalayMail and MCMC , becoz of this Candy Lim and the TM staff that processed my form

after complaint , i get my fixed line done in a week time after 10days delay

i submitted my form to the idiot farking b**** on 1/4/2010, and i waited patiently for 7days after that . I called up to her to get the status and get to knw that the b**** passed the form to Haslina TM Titiwangsa d after i gav her the form.

no news since then . lodged MCMC complaint and malaymail , and only get to knw that , the truth that the b**** sent to Haslina only ON 9/4/10..she kept my form for 9days without telling me the truth .

She like to twist the news and alwaz tell lies .... dont believe the CANDY LIM .... the old lady that sit in a booth near cypress condo or in Sglong pasar malam.

she at 1st told me that the HASLINA is frm TITIWANGSA TMPOINT , but when i asked again on last friday, she told me she is not working in TM point titiwangsa .... but luckily i m not idiot , i managed to get the working place of HASLINA frm internet after googling for few days..

i went to TMPOINT TITIWANGSA on last friday and none of the staff are helpful , maybe bcoz im CHINESE ? perhaps....

i simply picked a staff and told her the situation and made noise here and there , talked loudly and finally there is a staff helped me to contacted haslina (b****) thru her hp... she told haslina the situation and my MIPS status get updated after 30mins i reached office at 1.30pm.

~CANDY LIM DID scolded my gf bcoz she said my gf kacau here and keep calling her to asked for status ..fyi , she get commission frm my application and i got the right to asked until i get my STREAMXY DONE .. i let her to earned the commission bcoz she is a chinese only ....  since she get commission frm us , she should update us for our status.. she never called us back and even our call dropped , she dont bother to called us back .she is such a kurang AJAR ..pls spread the news to UTAR SG LONG THREAD....

i suggest u to grab a form from tmpoint and submit it again. PLS get some sort of proof from the staff that u can make reference in the future.. If they process on the spot there shud be a confirmation slip.
i opened mine juz now.. empty slot.. too..

btw... i notice thr is a some sort coating of copper or aluminium at the back of the cover..
better call 100 or if they say cant check thru 100, fast fast got tmpoint ask.

I  see what can be done on monday. Today holiay i cannot contact my agent. I register at Tarc booth as well. 

Whatour last option and fast way is to fill up a new form but dont register for new homeline..i guess it will process much faster.

Do you contact the agent that process for you?

I call my agent and they say my area melawati and wangsa maju area those new number have problem.

i terminated my streamyx and its still activate... and in the meanwhile , i subscribed to another streamyx package under my gf name ...

now they told me port full , but i still got another streamyx port which i terminated longtime ago , but still activate .. if my previous streamyx port terminated d, that means there will be another available port in my area.

visit any tmpoint ...never ever register thru roadshow ..wats the consumer phone or the name of the fella , i might able to tell u which TMpoint or ibu sawat they working at ...

I went to tm point just mow( I'm from Perak ) they said they have emailed my detail to KL and waiting them to process. So what i shall do now?
