I applied during last day of PC Fair, gave the Streamyx rep copies of my Student Card, IC and Offer Letter.

I haven't been able to get any status from TM or the guy. I've called him and he tells me that dunno have to wait what approval what chop from the college la blablablabla.

Am I waiting for streamyx to go to my college?

Now to find out that Kolej Tunku Abdul Rahman is not on the "list" but the Streamyx people cannot tell me flat out if TARC students are eligible or not.

The Streamyx fella will just say can can, fill in the application form and then nothing. Happy and excited for nothing.

My question is, has ANY TARC students successfully applied, got activation AND gotten their netbooks?

I'd rather they publish big big "TARC students cannot apply because you people are in college and not UNIVERSITY college. Confirm won't approve so don't bother trying!"

Granted, it'll be completely unfair but at least I don't have to get my hopes up and accept the fact that I'm not eligible simply by being in old run-down TARC (ok la, college now renovating not so bad d) instead of the expensive UNIVERSITY colleges (no offense intended to anyone who studying in expensive university colleges).

Ok, here's the thing. I already have streamyx so I asked the streamyx guy if I have to terminate my current line and get a new one. He said don't have to, just switch over to the UniPack plan.

Both of you succeeded because you applied for an entirely new line, correct? Should I be doing the same? terminating and reapplying? I also wanna upgrade to 4Mbps if available. Now I'm paying RM110 for 1Mbps

I just wish there's some kind of way to track the status of my application. There's no order number, nothing. When I called TM, they said "No record". I don't want to be waiting for no reason when my application's not being processed.

Hi, just wanna ask you another thing. I've been reading around that we have to personally bring the application form to our college to get a stamp of approval.
Did you have to do that?
If yes, which department in the college did you get the stamp from? also, what other documents did you have to provide?
The first streamyx rep just took a copy of my student ID card and offer letter.
