u dont need to cheat TM,u jst go another TM point do only. Diff people carry out things differently. Like my friend went TM point **** say cannot,went another place did can ady. Approved and waiting the laptop ady. The quarantine period is killing people,1st say 1 week done,after a week say server down,2nd week say there is a 1 month quarantine period,how suck they are in telling things like that. Even 100 product and services tells different stories. They told me can use uni offer letter without cop,i went TM at 8.30am thn the officer say government wants to c the cop =.=

yea,refer to version 1 has the HP phone number. My laptop will be delivered on 20th april,which already shipped from SG. They didnt send any email,and they call me but i didnt pick up. I got to know by calling the HP spport.

My friend receive her termination immediately after submitted the form and was told that 1 week will be done for everything. 2nd week went and ask for status,stated application not in process due to server down. Went 3rd week finally stated that have to waiting for 1 month quarantine period as confirmed by the TM officer. Applied april 1st same as me. Estimated May 1st only they process back the application,1 month struggling without internet with exam,assignment and presentation preparation. Try to terminate that application,register new line and reapply,but not recommended by TM officer.

My journey as summarized here:

April 1st: Applied in TM Point Taipan,officer say my university not listed,but leave form if the HQ approve thn will process,mentioned will call me back at 6-7pm where i submitted at 4pm. Eventually no call received.

April 2nd: Went TM Point Taipan at 8.30AM,ask receptionist and she say my application under process.

April 3rd-7th: Called 100 everyday to ask for status,they say application not in process,plz check with TM Point.

April 8th: 8.30AM went TM Point Kajang, Fail to register as no cop on the form cz 100 Customer service told me that either with cop or offer letter will do,either one can apply,but they insisted with cop.

April 9th: Apply again and instantly process with confirmation slip.

April 10th: Modem was sent to house and approved.

April 11th: Received Streamyx ZONE ID and password

April 12th: HP order was confirmed with no email,but i call to update. Expected delivery date: 20th April.

April 13th: Laptop on the way from SG

April 14th: Laptop reach Malaysia

April 15th: Received call in the morning,laptop arriving this saturday afternoon.

It all ends here. Waiting laptop to arrive and still helping my friend to apply to,but having lot troubles. Today went at 8.30AM again,
No offer letter->Reject,No RM5000 household income slip->Reject, Provided if still have 2 more years in university only can apply,coz our degree only 3 years for Bachelors Degree. They had enforced alot of new rules which previously not.

I feel something is not right,is there anyone feels there is internet connection DCed ? from 5.30pm to 6.15pm. Just right after i post up mine and i got dced immediately.

Appointment 2pm to 4pm but laptop arrive at 12 pm today. Laptop received and using now. Journey ends here,applied last week friday and everything is done. Jst to share my experience.

Make sure register ur product into online warranty and check the above links for warranty status.

I received my laptop on April 17th and i jst registered in the website. It posted factory warranty till June 12th,2011. I called up Streamyx customer care hotline they told me is 2 years warranty,even stated in the website. I called HP customer care hotline they told me is 1 year. However, the order summary state that it is 2 years. Its a huge confusion when comes to warranty claim later. So,i advice u guys,ask properly when register Streamyx cool uni pack for this laptop warranty as i meet this situation now. Whoever have comments and advice Im so appreciate it.

One more question is, I checked online to upgrade HP manufactured 2 GB ram is RM 600,if upgrade from others like KINGSTON,will it void warranty anot and to reformat into higher version of Windows 7 will it void warranty also ? I cant get to the customer care hotline as alot people is asking bout their order status, Thank you.

Anyway,i called up them. Ideally yes,upgrade ownself warranty void. Secondly,on the laptop there is no sticker at the bottom and there is no slot to put it like other laptop does. Have to open up 4 screws to open the piece and the ram is on the board. I have not personally open it and i suspect its like a timebomb,there is a sticker actually sticking btw the cover plate and the board,once u open the sticker will tear off,i would not wan to take the risk coz its a 2 years warranty. 1 KINGSTON 2GB ram is RM 170 and HP 2GB ram is RM 600,notebook ram. I dont know bout the sticker part actually,so plz dont treat as wat i say might be true,jst in my opinion only
