yea...tm nut treat us as nut, only giv tmuser login id.
for sure there is an admin mode.

Yea... mine is 1mbps, it is using G.dmt mode only

of course not la... ±1.5mpbs only.
b4 this i am using 512kbps package, speedtest exactly 512kbps only.
now upgraded to 1mbps package can enjoy 1.5mbps speed.

1mbps package is the highest c/p ratio package

TM took me 2 weeks to install my new streamyx and within 24 hrs to terminate my old streamyx =.="

Now I know why the Riger DB108 router need us to key in 13 characters in the WEP password, it is because it fits exactly 13 characters when key in:

TMNUTSCREAMYX

For those apply another new line for this cool uni pack, when you go to terminate the old streamyx account and homeline, if they ask you for the reason, tell them you have no use for the line anymore, don't tell them anything more.

If you tell them you switch to cool uni pack, some "genius" will key into the system: "migrate to cool uni pack" and their ass will think that the streamyx will be attached this homeline, so they wont terminate it.

Added on May 19, 2010, 12:15 pmbtw, just share the Riger DB108-WL firmware upgrade experience:

1) firmware downloaded from Riger website and Streamyx is the same version.

2) don't upgrade firmware thru wifi, it will fail.

3) if fail and cant boot it, try:
1. Unplug the power cord from the back of the router.
2. Hold down the Reset button.
3. While holding down the Reset button, plug back in the power cord to the router.
4. Continue to hold the Reset button for five (5) seconds. After five (5) seconds, release the button.
5. Wait for about one (1) minute. Then, on a computer connected to the router, launch a web browser (for example, Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox).
6. Type in the router's IP address of http://192.168.1.1 into the Address field and press the [Enter] key.
7. The Management Mode - Firmware Upgrade interface should appear.


becoz last nite i tried to ugrade thru wifi and it was dead
then i resurrect it by using method that used by Linksys WRT54G and it works.

my streamyx activated last friday, juz called hp, he know my name when i giv them my homeline number, and he say: TM HAVEN'T SEND YOUR COMPLETE DETAILS

gonna wait till this friday and call back again

it remains the same version..lol
