I applied during last day of PC Fair, gave the Streamyx rep copies of my Student Card, IC and Offer Letter.

I haven't been able to get any status from TM or the guy. I've called him and he tells me that dunno have to wait what approval what chop from the college la blablablabla.

Am I waiting for streamyx to go to my college?

Now to find out that Kolej Tunku Abdul Rahman is not on the "list" but the Streamyx people cannot tell me flat out if TARC students are eligible or not.

The Streamyx fella will just say can can, fill in the application form and then nothing. Happy and excited for nothing.

My question is, has ANY TARC students successfully applied, got activation AND gotten their netbooks?

I'd rather they publish big big "TARC students cannot apply because you people are in college and not UNIVERSITY college. Confirm won't approve so don't bother trying!"

Granted, it'll be completely unfair but at least I don't have to get my hopes up and accept the fact that I'm not eligible simply by being in old run-down TARC (ok la, college now renovating not so bad d) instead of the expensive UNIVERSITY colleges (no offense intended to anyone who studying in expensive university colleges).

am tarc student...last 2 week submit form(20th april) at utar outside booth ..tis monday(26th) come fixed phone line le...just wait la..ok?

im a tarc first year student and I succeeded. My entire process took a total of 6days-1day for my streamyx activation while 6days for netbook arrival, but provided if u install a new streamyx application

You have to wait technician to test. What you see now is not what you'll have once they switch over to 4mb port.

Two chinese fella's From lotuslite called me @ 1150am and told me "U free or not? we come do wiring for u now!" *shocked, so fast arrive, luckyly i was ai home*

They told me that new wiring costs a bomb, so they said termintate line easier n faster. Let them do their thing so one guy was outside looking @ tiangs and another was inside testing my phoneline.

After he finished he told me to 'call him at 3pm if the line still down', took him RM30 then go eat lunch.

I wonder how long it will take for the streamyx installer to come...

29/4 - wiring done (hopefully)

at least you got 2mb. i applied for 4mb and i only got 1mb
and they ask me to wait till the first billing then only upgrade.

not that assigned wrong , but maybe bcoz port full , then purposely assign 2mb for u

Ok, here's the thing. I already have streamyx so I asked the streamyx guy if I have to terminate my current line and get a new one. He said don't have to, just switch over to the UniPack plan.

Both of you succeeded because you applied for an entirely new line, correct? Should I be doing the same? terminating and reapplying? I also wanna upgrade to 4Mbps if available. Now I'm paying RM110 for 1Mbps

I just wish there's some kind of way to track the status of my application. There's no order number, nothing. When I called TM, they said "No record". I don't want to be waiting for no reason when my application's not being processed.

call them for stremayx confirmation, if they said confirm ur registration, then should be within 3 days.



MAN!!! Yesterday Tiong Nam put my airoplane, today 11am suddenly call me ask me where am I and he is at my area, I say I am at school and he pass the netbook to another delivery guy, called HP for confirmation , they say before 6 will deliver to me.. WTF

i also just got my phoneline fixed. The fella told me sld be able to use later.

the tmpoint titiwangsa is testing my patience now.. at 1st , told my gf that she forget to key in system bcoz tot we never fax in the student id and will submit to tmpoint (wtf) .

then when i called , told me when key in system , dont have my phone no. , meaning my phone no. is not available in the system.

@ Prasys , how to be patience with these kind of cock ?

Man, I cant even go to gym and no one from Tiong Nam is calling me...

U dont have to terminate and apply if the stramyx is under your name. But if the streamyx's is under someone else, u have to either get a homeline or to terminate and apply again. Some said that u dont have to wait a month to reapply back so i think that you should head tht way, just my 2cents

My phone line is working, but not my streamyx (though i could use my old line but apparently not =.=)

They are testing my patience as well. It has been couple of days and my order status is still the same. Its just a simple upgrade and they have not done it. Nevermind , tomorrow I'll go to them and just ask in person on my status and I demand them to process it asap

i will be visiting the monkey tomorrow as well ... now need to confirm with agent whether its TMpoint Setapak or TMpoint Titiwangsa ...it seem like there is no such thing in Titiwangsa anymore .. TMpoint Setapak fax no. is the most similar and possible with the contact no. and fax no. given by the monkey...its near to Titiwangsa as well
