Just chance upon your thread. I had Hives for more than 25 years, it started when I was a kid at about 6 years of age. Seen several doctors with no results of improvement until my father bought me Clarityne tablets, it helps a lot and the symptom subside an hour after taking a pill.

Do note you are not suppose to take more than one pill a day. My hives have since gone but they do come back once in awhile, maybe once a year.
