mx steven, you are the contributor to the fast-forwarding to v8..hehe
Hahaha..what a nuisance from a Kelisa..nway what's ur recommendation?pipe sizing, mid-box or bullet, s-flow or straight flow?
*
lols... too much spam from me izit haha..

pipe sizing for 1.6 liter normally are 1.8". Since our car is high compression type, 2" is much suitable and it should paired with S-flow if you want to improve low end coz ur car need some back pressure to maintain at optimum power. Mid box just replaced with any bullet!

Hi guys, later I will be driving my waja 2003 to genting for the first time, anything you guys would advice me for safety purpose?

I planned to use gear 3 when reach Karak highway, or should I use 2?

*Anyway, this few days I find it's quite hard to start up my car, is it because of my battery is running off? I'm using dry one. Will it affect my journey to Genting ? sad.gif It's like when I twist the car key, it macam going to "die off", but then I have to press a little pedal to make it stay alive.
*
it seems like your setting is all out!! i know what you mean... when is ur last fuel filter replacement? did any mechanics adjust ur idle speed without plugin in diagnostic computer?

Yea, successfully back from Genting! Well, I would say that when going uphill, no difference between using D or 3, in some roads, even 2 also did not give the power i need.

When coming downhill, i put 3, but still sloping down very fast, I don't know is it because I change to 2 when speed around 70 makes my engine like going to blow/damage.. just got that feeling..
*
so know u know how it feels hahaha... dun worry coz u will know what to do when u reach that situation!

nop it is not the new rom.... it is my new bewitched software which i written for many many many many years finally completed.... it is just for waja and Evo 7 and above! This software is called MXsteven Reflasher Kit

With this stuff, you can dyno tune exactly the same like Haltech, Microtech or any stand-alone ECU!

This stuff is everyones dream HAHAHAHAHA

Then we have to did this at dynoplace?huhu cost increase like dat..
nway anyone here knows place to get low temperature thermostat for Waja mitsu? As i know the thermostate is also identical to Perdana V6 (6A12) engine..
*
why u need low temp thermo? ur car wont run at optimum power if the temp below 95c ... Waja temp will maintain at 100-105c exactly like Evo does.

Really?
Coz last time i remember i pull out the thermostat the top cover gasket can stand long, not much leaking but suffer when tempreature drops like just on the engine....now even using perdana v6 drive high speed always got leaking..hopefully can get 70-72 Celcius will be fine..
*
FYI, Waja will init cold start mode if the temp below 80c... so u wont have power and fuel consumption is high. I never had any gasket problem so far!
what type of problem u experiencing? mind to share?

It' not engine gasket leak, but the cover head gasket leaking..my engine cover head gasket tends to harden faster, at most 8 months so comes to the time some oil leak will appear at the head, if not clean will see the oil at the header plate..
Last time when i open the thermostat as you said abeit more FC, but the rubber is much longer stands.Rev kaw2 also the head cover still no leaks..
*
I think this is more about the gasket quality that you installed! Try to google gasket quality material!

laugh.gif i know tht... but wut kind of changes can we expect.

if we can change the afr to feed more fuel advance abit the timing mayb can get abit more lower end power brows.gif
then at higher end can make a safe fuel setup for highway cruising
[COLOR=red] tongue.gif
*
what kind of changes? i think u have answered urself

the changes depends on ur car condition and your setup! this mapping is exactly the same like u install Haltech, microtech or any standalone ECU to ur car.
