wah steven what u say is pening leh...
Well, to make things simpler, sidewall height equal to the percentage of the tire's width. 225/40/18 means its 40% of 225mm 205/55/15 means its 55% of 205mm 195/55/15 means its 55% of 195mm So, 50series of a 195 and 205width tire isnt exactly the same. |

QUOTE(Andy0625 @ Apr 25 2010, 07:35 PM) What about radiator wise ? How many liter is needed to fill up our radiator ? Preston is a good brand, no comment. But i'd not recommend coolant without water. Acidic level not balanced. You can go for Peregrine coolant (distinctive orange in color) which is universal and uses OAT. Some coolants are just plain water with coloring, some are too alkali, some are too acidic. Keep in mind that even honda coolant cant put in toyota cars, and toyota coolants in honda cars, n vice versa. Its a long long story.Saw one of the prestone coolant that stated clearly , Do Not ADD Water and wonder how much will it cost if change to that. Btw , radiator cap there got rust what to do ? |

QUOTE(swk_sam @ Apr 27 2010, 01:11 PM) manage to hit 180kph yesterday when back to Ipoh. Really take times from 150kph to 180kph... 16" rim no major different for top speed... Just take longer time to hit 180kph. Just reflashed a Waja that was about to go back to JB. Says that 150-180kph now shorter time hahahaha.Steve : im referring to Ken's big-arm's car |

QUOTE(ray86 @ Apr 29 2010, 09:38 AM) Unfortunate incident for me yesterday.. Ur aircond compressor is fecked. Technician will replace the compressor, and also receiver drier aka aircond filter. Any maybe the expansion valve.was driving at about 60kmh.. then suddenly I heard belt screeching sound from my engine.. i let go my accelerator and the engine died. Lost power steering and was stuck in the middle of the road.. luckily no accident.. Instintively turned off AC and tried to restart the engine.. managed to start and drive to the side... Was a bit scared to drive until I knew it wont happen again.. so I poped the hood and all the belts looks ok and is moving fine.. then I tried turning on the AC.. the engine screeches and dies.. I called my mech and he suspects that the compressor has locked up and jammed.. Haih.. now driving without AC.. dunno how much to service also.. Reconditioned ones are no more than RM430.00. Of course, this is the price of the compressor only. If not later many wanna reverse engineer ur stuff..then later we work out on how to commercialize this thing This post has been edited by ThunderGod_Cid: Apr 29 2010, 11:48 AM |

Ray : your current compression is either sanden or patco. It can be changed to Denso one, but i comes with a set, with both bracket and tensioner pulley which costs an additional RM80 or so.
After putting in a new comp you can do an aircond flush for optimum performance, and run on synthetic aircond refrigerant oil Added on April 29, 2010, 11:51 am QUOTE(mxsteven @ Apr 29 2010, 11:49 AM) Lols... seems we kena threaten, but just to share some evil stuff to u guys! be careful of this guy! just judge on ur own! im not anti on anyone.. hahaha after that the fella no reply d![]() This post has been edited by ThunderGod_Cid: Apr 29 2010, 11:51 AM |

Come teach me & make business together or else I grab my shotgun.. LOL!Added on April 29, 2010, 2:49 pm QUOTE(ray86 @ Apr 29 2010, 02:03 PM) Hmm.. should I go ahead and buy the parts first then send to the shop or they can repair the condensor? Cos my friends shop in sea park can give me cheaper on parts.. aircond shops do markup. But keep in mind that, if there's any problem within warranty period :Also, it would be better to go a aircon specialist shop right? Today my left power window doesnt want to move! OMG.. die die.. how to reflash ECU now!! lol.. 1. u buy from ur fren, bring to shop X to fit. Shop X will have to charge u labour to take off the compressor n u bring for waranty. 2. get from the same aircond shop where u repair, shop X wont charge u labour and take ur comp off for free to send warranty. hhmm... I tink we should aready start setting a date for bulk reflash, say 15th may plus minus 3 days, inclusive of the FREE reflashing for the winner of the design
Added on April 30, 2010, 1:25 pm QUOTE(jolipoli81 @ Apr 30 2010, 01:09 PM) results are noticeable, coz the engine's compression is slightly higher and has a slightly better cam profileThis post has been edited by ThunderGod_Cid: Apr 30 2010, 01:25 PM |
