haha i think you placed too much expectation on brake pads, what pads you were on previously? your rotor wont last long on bandix.

i'd been there experimenting with brake system for so long .... smile.gif
using cross drilled and high performance pad on standard single pot, there is no different in braking distance. no matter how you pair it.
brembo cross drilled + bendix metal king pad = reduced brake fade effect thus makes the brake system more resistant to brake fade on constant braking.
ie; standard brake pad + rotor = brake fade after 8x braking or so.
cross drilled + high performance brake pad = brake fade after 13x braking or so.
it will not reduce the braking distance.
amount of caliper + bigger disc = shorter braking distance but without dual layer brake servo, this upgrade may require pumping the brake pedal if the amount of 'vacuum' produced by the engine is not strong enough.
remember to get a good set of tyre too!
eh, you use the bendix pad as an excuse to upgrade the brake next time, right? tongue.gif

it will reduce the the bubbles friction. thus braking feel more solid brows.gif
evo twin pot comes standard with brake hose, as in mine, so, i use the evo stock brake hose and a pair of pro rs for the stock rear brake.
btw, are you on dual layer brake servo too?

yeah, my rotor skim before already, so if this rotor screw up, gonna get a better one
so you mention without more amount of caliper or bigger dics, it will never reduce the braking distance?
which means if i were to have brembo max + bendix, i will only have a better brake fade effect right?

from my experience, yes.
but id does give a slightly better brake feels due to thicker new pad coz the smallest different in new pad is big when it comes to braking tongue.gif

Hi guys,

im someone who is still looking for my waja...

the last one i test drive was an auto waja.
the problem with that waja is, when its idle n the gear is a D the steering really shake, what the problem?
engine mounting? how much does it cost to solve this problem?

my second concern is, the rear end, above the rear lamp (not on the rear hud/bonet) on the body side, where people usually put the reflactor,as its a part of the rear lamp. there a big dent... maybe motorbike handle make it.
seems like hard to repair,is it repairable? how much doest it cost?

thanks in advance to all sifu smile.gif

The rubber wont block air flow to our air filter cos TB will suck air around the tips. The rubber will block water when u cruising at high speed on rainy day. Don't drill a hole or later your filter get wet on high speed cruising on rainy days.

Thanks for the info , buddy.

im on the cross drill/slotted + performance pad single pot setup...

braking distance for me i think need to change better tire + braided hose. i think might be can improve. i can lock my tire now... so its not a matter abt not enough grip. i just wan it to be less spongy n more sensitive.... since i rely on human abs.. so brake distance i guess depend solely on my right leg doing the job well laugh.gif

Added on April 20, 2010, 12:22 amAs for cat cons.... the fibres dont really loosen or eat up. It only gets clogged up over time if im not mistaken biggrin.gif.

thickness of pads do not play a role bro. when you pads thin, the caliper piston is positioned outer compared to one with a thicker pad. The rest of the space in the hydraulic system is filled with the brake fluid itself.

Trust me or not ; notice ur new brake pads, and ur fluid level at FULL level. Wait 20k-40k km later, you'll see a decrease in brake fluid.
