you don't have to mod the driver..just get it from AMD's site and install...there's official support for mobility chips now..

hey guys..is it possible for ram to cause power instability? I'm having this USB related issue (USB ports failing after using the computer randomly)..And if i use DC+batt or batt alone, the usb ports will be normal..tested that for 3 days already..

QUOTE(astria @ Apr 19 2010, 09:34 AM) Technet has 10... It's really very funny...they usb port will eventually fail if i use DC only without any USB devices attached (tried plugging in a pendrive but couldn't recognize it)only time when i had problem is when i mixed up the key... used the same one on 2 computers... solved after putting in a new one on one of them... highwind: by right no... if there's really such issue, u probably can't even boot up in the first place... looks more like some power issues with the USB port to me (insufficient power or sth)... dackson: DX11 has got both DX10.1 and DX10.0 included... If I DC + Batt or Batt only, the usb ports are normal...motherboard power problem? i got another funny issue..My speakers are not working..It shows that headphone are plugged on eventhough they are not... QUOTE(miahahaha @ Apr 19 2010, 10:03 AM) haha ^^...dackson just download everything...waste your bandwidth la like that... @miahaha: yeah...and it happens when i'm so far away from malaysia...damn...need to find the nearest service centre from my place...Seems like so many problem with S57..previous got problem with the charging, now got problem with USB ports...and also the audio port... @astria: i think it's driver related too...but i already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver from realtek website..my wifi button isn't working either...that is definitely driver related. but i couldn't fix it.. QUOTE(astria @ Apr 21 2010, 12:46 PM) yup, i hate to admit, but imho Apple did do their homework on the design... yup..the design looks nicer...and they rectify some of the missing key features in OS 4.....but i still prefer HTC desire...let's see how it fare when it is released...the more conventional "brick" look is pleasing for both the eyes and the hands... but but but, i still love my Hero... |

QUOTE(astria @ Apr 23 2010, 08:22 AM) Haha..i guess both android and iphone are competing on different grounds...just like PC and Mac..i remember reading some article describing Apple is like christian, they believe in "one god" (iphone) where as android is like polytheistic religion (HTC desire, Nexus One, Moto Droid)...so eventually the scenario would be like what in PC world..Android would undoubtedly surpass iphone in a not too distant future..Added on April 23, 2010, 8:32 amyeah..the waiting game is a pain in the arse...vodafone uk also said that update would be available for magic..but no specified date given...and also the lower RAM (192mb) of vodafone magics is really a turn off..HTC sense couldn't run smoothly...Rooting is simple...juz a few minutes...i used the "one key root" method instead of "gold card"...gold card seems complicated...
