Any S42 user encounter such as CPU resources load quite high while using FF?? hmm.gif..mine here comparing with Opera.

FF = CPU temp @load 62C
Opera = CPU temp @load 56C

I think must be something wrong with my FF, might be??

yeah i saw it somewhere before. i even email-ed BenQ and they told me it should come with 8-cell battery. They were confused that i had a 6-cell. hahaa. have yet to ask call BenQ Malaysia to confirm. doh.gif

well, honestly speaking, i didn't expect HTC to be able to deliver it in April...

i guess May is my last deadline... since Android 2.2 will be out by then...

fancy rooting? brows.gif...hero is not the only model waiting..xperia x10 have to wait till probably september for the 2.1 update...by then they may skip 2.1 and go straight to 2.2...

have thoughts of that... though i read Gold Card is the only way for Asian Hero...

June will be the time when i go rooting if HTC fails to deliver in May... (no high hopes of that either...)

Seems like manage to shave out 2-3C for folding...
These days are hot, folding is around 44-45C...
Since the thermal pad seems broken, replaced it with 2 one cent coin, hopefully stay alive tongue.gif
Currently is hovering around 39-41C... icon_idea.gif

Well, you put paste between the coin & CPU?? hmm.gif..your result is quite good, mine here hovering @ 55C idle and load @89C max (while playing games tongue.gif)

CPU not using thermal pad, straight thermal paste...
Its the chipset that using thermal pad, but out of shape already,
since got no spare thermal pad, so change it with two coin stack,
heatsink - paste - coin - paste - coin - paste - chipset...
