Oh yeah, why not try use HDTune to benchmark your hdd and as well scan for bad sector...

10 cent can't 1 cent, seems like made of copper  heatsink -- 1 cent--thermal paste-- GPU/CPU/Chipset for better result, should do some lapping on the 1 cent
