@evo: GTA hard to get 40+, i think mainly is the processor being hogged...dunno about latest patch and the EFLC, but the first one, even patched to the 2nd patch, my s42 only getting ~25fps, and the best part, my quad core desktop only gets 40+fps...

totally depends, if it is still that CPU dependent, i think it'll be at most 30fps or so...
that time i say ~25fps, it's regardless of in game texture/resolution setting, anything i set also getting 25fps highest...stupid CPU hogger bottlenecking...
i heard it's still very very CPU dependent even for the EFLC

not to say optimized for 4 core, it's because it's a direct port from the x360 version, and the architecture is different..somemore the team that is doing the porting did very lazy work on porting the kernal of the game..and in the end the game is too reliant on CPU even in some graphical processing instead of GPU, it's getting same framerate as crysis but the graphic is not half as nice as the game

and apps are considered quite well priced if u ask me, for 3.99 USD u get a very highly compatible emulator that i heard can run most the games out there...where for symbian, vbag, u pay more then that also...

i heard the one that has coded all the emulator for android is aiming PS emulator next...i'll get an android once that one is out..too many PS games that i always wanted to play...imagine, FF VII in ur phone.. :droll:

i knew about WinMo capable of doing that, but the rest of the things, like user experience, supports, horsepower are not as good as android...so, i'll be standing with android for now

crazy crazy froyo.... 450% performance boost compared to eclair...

yeah, N1 have snapdragon, but the price right now for it is around Rm2200...and milestone is just agak agak 1600...the price difference is quite big..

and i think some chart shows that droid is used by half the US android user...so u can expect latest versions androids to be release ASAP as well

@batusai: i also got hands on milestone before, but honestly, dunno what there is to play around with...that OS is still a total stranger to me..

well, my hands on on milestone and below are my opinion:
screen is big(to me)
the qwerty slider is quite solid and well built, feedbacks are ok too
camera, dunno..kinda feel it takes too long to capture...

the rest, dunno liao

lol for me i don really care, not like i need the radio function here in malaysia also...the song being played here, sucks....
as for the camera, maybe it's taken when u release the key, cos i recall pressing the key and it's like taking focus, then i release the camera key only it goes 'kacak'

@batusai: don get from US, the droid is using CDMA, and we are using GSM, as far as i know, not compatible one...

that one is called milestone, it's the UK version, and yeah, it's being clocked down to 550Mhz...
but nvm, can overclock one
nokia n900, using same chip, got crazy ppl overclocked it to 1Ghz...and normal users(most of them) manage to push it to 800mhz

actually even right now with eclair, the day to day general processing doesnt fully hog the 500Mhz for milestone, and i hardly heard about any application that lags on it even right now...and seeing how froyo's gonna boost its speed...i'd say...550Mhz with the hardware acceleration is really what u need for another 2 years time...after 2 years i think phone spec could match current netbook or higher liao
