@evo: GTA hard to get 40+, i think mainly is the processor being hogged...dunno about latest patch and the EFLC, but the first one, even patched to the 2nd patch, my s42 only getting ~25fps, and the best part, my quad core desktop only gets 40+fps...
and looks like we got a new |

QUOTE(evolution120 @ May 12 2010, 10:44 AM) totally depends, if it is still that CPU dependent, i think it'll be at most 30fps or so...that time i say ~25fps, it's regardless of in game texture/resolution setting, anything i set also getting 25fps highest...stupid CPU hogger bottlenecking... i heard it's still very very CPU dependent even for the EFLC |

not to say optimized for 4 core, it's because it's a direct port from the x360 version, and the architecture is different..somemore the team that is doing the porting did very lazy work on porting the kernal of the game..and in the end the game is too reliant on CPU even in some graphical processing instead of GPU, it's getting same framerate as crysis but the graphic is not half as nice as the game

Baronic bro's blog has da solution i knew about WinMo capable of doing that, but the rest of the things, like user experience, supports, horsepower are not as good as android...so, i'll be standing with android for nowAdded on May 12, 2010, 2:38 pmeven warcraft 2 and starcraft. haha |

@dackson: RM1660 for AP, and ~RM2k+ for original
so that RM1300 for demo unit is considered a great deal |

yeah, N1 have snapdragon, but the price right now for it is around Rm2200...and milestone is just agak agak 1600...the price difference is quite big..
and i think some chart shows that droid is used by half the US android user...so u can expect latest versions androids to be release ASAP as well |

QUOTE(Batusai @ May 12 2010, 04:22 PM) hmm.. so far so good.. staying on the normal built.. without htc sense.. just playing around.. haha downloading games and stuffs.. haha.. like da responsiveness.. would be great in capacitive! lol for me i don really care, not like i need the radio function here in malaysia also...the song being played here, sucks....well.. did not get to try da camera.. autofocus with dual LED.. hahaa.. quite good. downside.. no radio.. as for the camera, maybe it's taken when u release the key, cos i recall pressing the key and it's like taking focus, then i release the camera key only it goes 'kacak' |

QUOTE(Batusai @ May 12 2010, 04:28 PM) found from ebay website.. well.. apparently.. they have GSM models.. but from their description.. they use A8 550Mhz proc.. kidna weird.. that one is called milestone, it's the UK version, and yeah, it's being clocked down to 550Mhz...but nvm, can overclock one nokia n900, using same chip, got crazy ppl overclocked it to 1Ghz...and normal users(most of them) manage to push it to 800mhz Added on May 12, 2010, 4:32 pm QUOTE(Batusai @ May 12 2010, 04:31 PM) hahaa.. regret comes in when I suddenly think.. Im wasting money on so much technology.. Im a bad bad boy.. no, that's not bad, just following the technology trend, and getting a future proof phone This post has been edited by BBXiong: May 12 2010, 04:32 PM |

QUOTE(Batusai @ May 12 2010, 04:35 PM) HD2 in android = EVO 4G. hahaa.. actually even right now with eclair, the day to day general processing doesnt fully hog the 500Mhz for milestone, and i hardly heard about any application that lags on it even right now...and seeing how froyo's gonna boost its speed...i'd say...550Mhz with the hardware acceleration is really what u need for another 2 years time...after 2 years i think phone spec could match current netbook or higher liaoi thought my touch pro was a future proof phone.. oh well.. it changes all da time.. well.. it is.. except it runs on winmo.. milestone looks promising la.. 5mp.. if proc was snapdragon.. sure buy. haha.. |
